#Browns Preview 12.27.15: Cleveland Browns @ Kansas City #Chiefs

This Sunday, the 3-11 Cleveland Browns travel to Kansas City to take on the 9-5 Chiefs. The enter the game with an eight game winning streak and have somehow trimmed the AFC West lead down to one game behind the Denver Broncos. Kansas City seems to be in good shape to continue its success against a team in the running for next year's top overall draft pick. 

The Browns are 29th averaging 18.1 points and were held to 230 yards in last Sunday's 30-13 loss at Seattle. The Browns have allowed at least 30 points in six of seven games and gave up a season-high 182 rushing yards against the Seahawks.

Johnny Manziel has put together some decent showings at quarterback, forcing the Browns to continue starting him as the season ends. They are playing for next season and trying to find out whether the quarterback will be their guy—for at least one season. Luckily, Chiefs pass-rushers Tamba Hali and Justin Houston are both questionable to play this week.

Offensively, Jeremy Maclin has caught four TD passes in as many games. Running back Charcandrick West scored on a 38-yard run last weekend and has averaged 5.0 yards per carry in two games after posting 2.7 in his previous three.

The Browns got Dwayne Bowe in free agency, and the Chiefs got Jeremy Maclin. The results for each team? Cleveland is getting 5 catches for 51 yards from Bowe, while Kansas City is getting 79 catches for 985 yards and 6 touchdowns from Maclin. It's getting harder and harder to write these things.

Ohio State Highway Patrol spokesman Craig Cvetan said Browns undrafted free agent safety De'Ante Saunders who is on the practice squad was pulled over on I-71 southbound at 2:16 am Christmas morning for speeding,(going 75mph in a 60) and was eventually arrested for OVI. The Ohio State Highway Patrol spokesman said Saunders had a handgun in the car without a permit and his case will be forwarded to the Cuyahoga County prosecutor for review to determine if he will be charged with having a weapon while intoxicated. De'Ante Saunders' passenger Browns OLB Armonty Bryant was arrested for possession of Adderall and couldn't produce a prescription at the time of his arrest. Bryant was not charged, but his case has been forwarded to prosecutor's office for charges if he can't produce a prescription. 

Adderall is a banned substance in NFL if you don't have a prescription.

Bryant could be disciplined by the league and placed in the substance abuse program if he is not in it currently. In May 2013, a week after being drafted by the Browns Bryant was arrested on a DUI charge in Oklahoma. He pleaded no contest. In college, Bryant also pleaded no contest to a felony charge of distributing marijuana in the school zone of East Central University. Armonty Bryant is on probation. Armonty Bryant did not travel with the team and will be inactive for today's game agains Kansas City.

- Florida State quarterback Everett Golson will miss the Peach Bowl against the Houston Cougars while dealing with the death of a family member.

Golson transferred to FSU as a graduate transfer from Notre Dame last spring. Golson was the quarterback when Notre Dame went to the BCS Championship Game vs. Alabama after the 2012 season. He missed the 2013 season because of academic issues and returned in 2014. He finishes 2015 with a stat line of 147-219 passing for 1,778 yards and 11 touchdowns and three interceptions. Sean Maguire will be the starter for the Seminoles.

- A partially torn left quadricep will keep Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin out indefinitely. He underwent a MRI Saturday that revealed the tear. Griffin will have the injury re-evaluated to two weeks to determine the next course of action. Griffin is averaging 23.2 points, 8.7 rebounds and five assists in 30 games this season for Los Angeles. The five-time All-Star was third among Western Conference forwards in the first returns of All-Star balloting on Friday.

- Speaking of All-Star balloting, here are the early returns for the 2016 NBA All-Star Game, to be held in Toronto on February 14:

Al-Jazeera's new documentary may shock you! Nationals' Ryan Zimmerman and Phillies' Ryan Howard are MLB players linked to same report accusing Peyton Manning of using HGH. Peyton Manning has responded to allegations linking him to a doping ring. "The allegation that I would do something like that is complete garbage and is totally made up making stuff up. Manning continued "It never happened.  Never.  I really can’t believe somebody would put something like this on the air." According to Sports Illustrated legal analyst Michael McCann said "Will Peyton Manning file a defamation lawsuit? Even as a public figure, he'd have a case--unless the report is true."

Full Court Press 12.25.15: NBA Season Has Finally Arrived #NBAXMas

Basketball Season Has Arrived

At first glance, I'm pretty sure when you saw the title, you figured that this was an article written in October. No, it wasn't. It's December 22nd and I'm sitting at my computer watching season one, episode 4 of Breaking Bad. When it comes to this show, I'm pretty late to the party, but as far as the NBA season is concerned, now is the time to start paying attention. Other than witnessing the Golden State Warriors begin the season with best start in the history of the NBA, you haven't missed much. The Spurs are good, as usual. The Cavs are good and injured, but almost back to fully healthy. Kobe is retiring and won't stop shooting. Dwight Howard is unhappy and people in the media are talking way too much about the New York Knicks.

But guess what?

Christmas Day is here, and for a lot of fans this is almost the equivalent of MLB Opening Day. Five games featuring five possible championship contenders. The main event takes place at 5:00 PM when the Cavs visit the Warriors for a one game "rematch" of last season's NBA Finals. 

I'm not quite sure when it happened, but somehow along the way I've developed a deep fondness of the Golden State Warriors and the league's reigning MVP Steph Curry. Like everyone else I was a naysayer who repeatedly said that a jump shooting team can not win a championship, but the Warriors kept winning and we kept doubting. Each round of the playoffs a key player was missing from one of the Warriors opponents. This gave everyone who doubted Golden State an excuse to say that their championship run was lucky. Now I'm no expert, but I think it's safe to say that the absence of Patrick Beverly and Tony Allen is not what propelled the Warriors to the Finals. Would things have been different if Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love were available for the Cavs? Maybe, but this team is good, they play the right way, and the best player is dominant, all 6'3", 190 lbs of him. 

I'm in the minority, but I feel that Curry has surpassed LeBron as the best player in the game. I think when people hear this they assume that I'm saying that Steph has had a better career or is on pace to have a better one. No, what I'm saying is that RIGHT NOW Curry is better simply because he's unstoppable and knows what his strengths are. 13 years in LeBron still doesn't post up much, still does not have a dependable jump shop (although he loves to shoot em), and is barely an average free throw shooter. Despite that, he still gives you 26 points 7 rebounds and 6 assists per game. Of course these are numbers that can not be ignored or glossed over, but I'm one of those people that feel like numbers do lie. Remember Steph has been in the league seven years fewer than LeBron, but is only has one less ring.

There is still one challenge that I need to see the Warriors complete before I crown them of the best teams that I've ever seen. I need to see what they can do against a Greg Popovich coached team in a best of seven series. So far the all of the attention has been on Golden State and Cleveland, but the Spurs have the second best record in the league and are only 3 games behind the Warriors in the overall standings. They have transitioned from a team that was led by Tony Parker and Tim Duncan to a team that is now being guided by LaMarcus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard. San Antonio, Golden State and Cleveland all have great rosters, and in my opinion the Cavs have the best, but the Warriors and Spurs play "the right way" for longer stretches in games than the Cavaliers do.

The Cavs have a tendency to get complacent on defense and lackadaisical on offense. The Warriors, a great jump shooting team sometimes forgets that a drive to the hoop is smarter than heaving a 30 footer even if it is a "heat check". The Spurs, well, I'm still having a hard time finding weaknesses, but one or two are bound to pop up.  All three teams have multiple go to guys, and all three teams can play big or go small. Barring some sort of catastrophic disaster the Cavs will be in the Finals, but the battle between Golden State and San Antonio will be epic.

As the NFL regular season is coming to a close, the casual basketball fan will turn their attention to the NBA, and when they do they'll see the defending champs chasing history by trying to match and surpass the 72-10 record of the Chicago Bulls.

There will be other storylines to watch for:

1 Can Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant work together and get OKC back to the Finals?

2 Will the Bulls blow up their roster or make one more run at it with the team they have?

3 Does Miami pose a legitimate challenge to the Cavs in the East?

4 Will the fans or coaches vote Kobe onto the Western Conference all star team?


That last one was for me and I don't care what you have to say about it.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 12.24.15: WWE Tribute To The Troops

Season's Greetings.....or maybe Season's Beatings from the WWE. Happy Holidays gang and welcome to Wrestling Lockup with Brandon: Tribute To The Troops Edition. The WWE brought their Christmas festivities to Jacksonville, Florida, to put on their yearly tribute show, to the men and women fighting overseas and unable to participate in Christmas with their families. This year's show promised a huge sixteen man tag team main event and plenty of holiday cheer for everyone. Let's get to the recap of this year's Tribute To The Troops.

- Jo-Jo kicks off the show with the singing of our National Anthem.

- The Family Promo: Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and The Usos are in the ring for a promo. Reigns gives thanks to the troops for their amazing service, when the League of Nations immediately interrupt. Sheamus appreciates America, but it's not the best country. King Barrett calls the British better. Alberto Del Rio asks where are the beautiful women and real futball? Sheamus says Ireland have the best food, women and gingers. Reigns calls the LON to the ring to show them what happens when you mock America. The LON head to the ring, when out go the lights, queing The Wyatt Family. The Dudley Boys, Ryback and Kane make their way out next, all hell breaks lose with a huge 16 man brawl, which sets up our 16 man tag team main event later tonight.

- "Bootcamp Match": Rusev (w/Lana) vs. Jack Swagger: Lana gets involved early, handing Rusev an ammo box, which Rusev hits Swagger with. The match closes out with Swagger hitting a series of clotheslines and a Swagger Bomb for a near fall. Swagger goes for the Patriot Lock submission, but Rusev escapes and plants a thrust kick, for a near fall. Rusev goes for another thrust kick, but Swagger catches the leg and locks in the Patriot Lock submission. Rusev escapes again, but gets sent into a metal case that Rusev put in between the ropes earlier in the match. Swagger again applies the Patriot Lock submission and forces Rusev to tap out.
Winner: Jack Swagger, by submission.

- Titus O'Neil and Batista show their respect by hanging out with the U.S. Navy Seals.

- Mark Henry vs. Bo Dallas: The match closes out with Dallas getting in some punches, some kicks to Henry's stomach and then runs for his life when he realizes nothing is working. Henry catches Dallas and ends him with the World's Strongest Slam for the pinfall.
Winner: Mark Henry, by pinfall.

- Rock group, Train, performed their new Christmas single "Merry Christmas Everybody".

- Ryback vs. Kevin Owens: The match closes out with Ryback hitting a series of shoulder tackles, landing a spine buster, hitting the Meat Hook and sets Owens up for Shell Shock. Owens escapes and lands on the ring apron. Ryback sends Owens off the apron and Owens decides to just walk out for the count out loss.
Winner: Ryback, by countout.

- Actor/Comedian, Howie Mandel, performs a standup comedy act.

- "Eight Woman Tag Team Match": Paige and Team BAD vs. Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Brie Bella and Alicia Fox: The match closes out with, Becky hitting a drop kick on Tamina for a near fall. Charlotte is in and hits a spear on Naomi. Paige is in next and super kicks Charlotte. Alicia gets in next and plants a boot on Paige. Sasha tags in, knocks Becky off the apron and forces Alicia to tap out to the Bank Statement.
Winners: Paige and Team BAD, by submission.

- Rock group, Train, performed their biggest hit "Drops of Jupiter".

- "Sixteen Man Tag Team Match": Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, The Usos, The Dudley Boys, Ryback and Kane vs. The Wyatt Family and The League of Nations: The match closes out with Devon going for the tables, but the LON stop him and attack both Dudleys. Ambrose hits a suicide dive on Del Rio. The Usos hit suicide dives on Rowan and Rusev. Harper hits a super kick on Ambrose, but he rebounds back with a clothesline. Bray grabs Ambrose and hits Sister Abigail. Kane comes in and choke slams Bray. Strowman enters the ring and locks Kane in the Bear Hug/Sleeper submission.

Reigns makes the save for Kane and Superman Punches Strowman. Ryback follows up with a clothesline on Strowman over the top rope. Ambrose grabs Harper and hits Dirty Deeds to score the pinfall.
Winners: The Family, The Dudleys, Ryback and Kane, by pinfall.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's time for this week's NXT Edition.

- This week's NXT took place in London, England, during their United Kingdom Tour. We're one week removed from Takeover: London. What new feuds, or possible renewed feuds will come about tonight? And one huge announcement was made last week. It's the return of former NXT World Champion, Sami Zayn. Let's get to this weeks NXT Edition recap.

- "Fatal Four Way Tag Team Match": The Vaudevillians vs. The Hype Bros. vs. Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy vs. Jason Jordan and Chad Gable: The match closes out with Gable getting the beat down by everyone. Gable blocks a Gotch senton, counters a double team suplex by Blake and Murphy and hot tags Jordan. Jordan unloads suplexes on everyone in his path and then belly-to-belly suplexes Murphy over the ropes and onto everyone on the floor. Jordan and Gable hit their double team finisher and score the pinfall.
Winners: Jason Jordan and Chad Gable, by pinfall.

- Bull Dempsey vs. Elias Samson: The match closes out quickly with, Bull landing punches, shoulder blocks and clotheslines. Samson hits a high knee that drops Bull. Samson goes to the top rope, hits a flying elbow and scores the pinfall.
Winner: Elias Samson, by pinfall.

- Sami Zayn vs. Tye Dillinger: The match closes out with, Sami hitting the diving senton onto the floor on Tye. Back in the ring, Sami dodges a Tye charge and hits the Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Tye counters the Helluva Kick by grabbing Sami's foot and plants a super kick for a near fall. Tye tries his own Helluva Kick, but Sami counters with an exploder suplex. Sami measures up Tye, charges and plants the Helluva Kick for the pinfall.
Winner: Sami Zayn, by pinfall.

- Sami Zayn Promo: Sami says he's back, is happy at how well NXT is doing and knows the best is yet to come in 2016, cause THIS...IS...NXT!!

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's time for this week's Smackdown Edition.

- This week's Smackdown took place in Des Moines, Iowa. This week's show was a very special live Tuesday night edition. One could say that The New Day had a pretty bad start to their week so far. The New Day were shut out from winning any WWE Slammy Awards on RAW this week and now must defend the WWE World Tag Team Championship against the #1 Contenders, The Lucha Dragons. Dean Ambrose is coming off of a Steel Cage Match victory over Sheamus on RAW. Now the head of the Ambrose Asylum must defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a Triple Threat Match, against #1 Contenders, Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler. Let's get to this weeks special live Smackdown Edition recap.

- "WWE World Tag Team Championship Match": The New Day (c) vs. The Lucha Dragons: The match closes out with Sin Cara landing two springboard moonsaults on Big E for a near fall. The Dragons hit a suicide dive on New Day and Kalisto follows that with a springboard cross body on Big E. Sin Cara hits an enzuigiri on Big E and Kalisto with Salida Del Sol. Woods jumps on the apron and distracts Kalisto. While Kalisto is distracted, Sin Cara goes for a springboard moonsault, but gets caught by Big E. Big E hits the Big Ending on Sin Cara, covers and scores the pinfall.
Winners: The New Day, by pinfall, to retain the WWE World Tag Team Championship.

- Backstage, Dean Ambrose gives thoughts on defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship, tonight. Ambrose will burst Kevin Owens' head like a tomato. When the dust settles, Owens and Dolph Ziggler will fail, that's not a metaphor, that's a fact.

- "Eight Man Tag Team Match": The Wyatt Family vs. The Dudley Boys, Ryback and Kane: The match closes out with Devon hitting a flying headbutt on Bray, but Strowman stops the pinfall. Kane and Strowman go to the floor where Strowman sends Kane into the ring post. Rowan dumps Ryback into the crowd. The Dudleys are back in the ring and get a near fall double team neck breaker on Bray. The Dudleys go for Whazz Up, but Devon dives out to the floor onto Strowman, who catches Devon and applies the Bear Hug/Sleeper submission. Harper next plants a super kick on Devon. Inside the ring, Bray attacks Bubba from behind and hits Sister Abigail for the pinfall.

- Santino Marella's Christmas Party Segment: Tyler Breeze and Summer Rae call Adam Rose and Damien Sandow uggos. Santino arrives and finds his tree and decorations knocked over. Stardust and The Ascension call the party a bust and has come to The Wasteland. Neville says it's Christmas and you don't mess with a man's decorations. Titus O'Neil agrees and demands Christmas be returned. Stardust says Christmas is cancelled and The Ascension have to be defeated to get it back.

- Alberto Del Rio and Rusev (w/The League of Nations) vs. The Usos: The match closes out with Jey hitting a samoan drop, followed by the Rikishi Splash for a near fall. Jimmy gets sent into the steel steps by Rusev. Jey and Del Rio battle on the top rope. Del Rio counters a superplex with a headbutt. Barrett distracts the referee, allowing Rusev to thrust kick Jey off of Del Rio. Del Rio puts Jey in the tree of woe and hits the double stomp for the pinfall. After the match, the LON hold Jimmy and Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick. Roman Reigns hits the ring and sends Sheamus over the announcers table. - The Ascension (w/Stardust) vs. Titus O’Neil and Neville (w/Santino Marella): The match closes out with Titus making the tag, hits a clothesline and a shoulder on The Ascension. Viktor lands a boot on Titus and knocks Neville off the apron. Stardust and The Ascension surround Santino on the floor. Neville makes the save with a corkscrew plancha onto Stardust and The Ascension. Titus hits a shoulder tackle and Neville hits Red Arrow for the pinfall.

- Backstage, Dolph Ziggler says winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship means a lot to him because it was the first title he ever won. If he gets it back, it'll mean big things for 2016.

- Charlotte (w/Becky Lynch) vs. Brie Bella (w/Naomi): The match closes out with, Brie unloading on Charlotte with a series of clotheslines, a dropkick, a running knee, a missile drop kick and Yes Kicks. Charlotte comes back with a spear on Brie. Team BAD make their way to the ring as Naomi dumps eggnog on Becky. Becky attacks Naomi, but gets beat down by Team BAD. Charlotte doesn't help and instead applies the Figure Four and bridges into the Figure Eight submission, making Brie tap out.
Winner: Charlotte, by submission.

- Backstage, Kevin Owens is still mad about losing the Breakout Star Slammy Award to Neville, calls Dean Ambrose a fake champion, cause Owens is the real champion and reminds us that he's owned Dolph Ziggler, so he's not worried about him. Tonight, Smackdown becomes the Kevin Owens Show.

- "WWE Intercontinental Championship, Triple Threat Match": Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler: The match closes out with, Owens sending Ziggler into the ring post. Owens hits a senton on Ambrose and an exploder suplex for a near fall. Owens fallaway slams Ziggler into the barricade and lands punches on Ambrose. Ambrose lands a back elbow on Owens and goes for Dirty Deeds, but Ziggler stops it and hits Zig Zag on Owens and Ambrose, both, for near falls. Ziggler plants a super kick on Owens, but walks into Dirty Deeds by Ambrose. Ambrose covers and scores the pinfall, to close out this weeks Smackdown.
Winner: Dean Ambrose, by pinfall, to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Browns left tackle Joe Thomas and center Alex Mack were selected to the NFL Pro Bowl. For Thomas, this will be his 9th selection to the annual game and 3rd time for Mack. Special teamer Johnson Bademosi, tight end Gary Barnidge and wide receiver Travis Benjamin were selected as alternates. Pro Bowl players are voted in by players, coaches and fans, with each groups ballot counting for 1/3 of the votes.

In a All-Star game many consider to be tag football, the Pro Bowl has some rule differences from a traditional NFL game.

-Field Goal Post width will be 14-feet, down from 18.6-feet from the regular season
-PATs will be from the 15-yard line, making the kick 33-yards long.
-2 timeouts per quarter
-2 minute warning every quarter

- The Indians signed Ross Detwiler to a minor league deal with a spring training invite. The team also released Chris Johnson, but still owe him $17.5M. Johnson is scheduled to make $7.5M in 2016 and $9M in 2017 and the Tribe will be on the hook for his $1M buyout in 2018 with a contract worth $10M.

Ross Detwiler is a 29-year-old southpaw who posted a 7.25 ERA (6.12 FIP) in 41 appearances between the Texas Rangers and Atlanta Braves in 2015. In 58.1 combined innings, Detwiler struck out 41, walked 36 and allowed 10 home runs. Left-handed pitchers Tom Gorzelanny and Joe Thatcher were also recently signed to Minor League deals with spring training invites by the Tribe.

- The Akron Zips defeated Utah State for their 1st bowl win in school history with a 23-21 victory in the Idaho Potato Bowl.

- Another Ohio team won a bowl game yesterday, as the Toledo Rockets won the Boca Raton Bowl over Temple, 32-17. It's the 1st time since 1969-71 Toledo has won a bowl in consecutive seasons.

- After announcing his retirement Monday, Ohio native Charles Woodson was named to his 9th Pro Bowl at the age 39. Woodson was a three-time, first-team All-Pro at cornerback for the Packers and Raiders. Named to the All-2000s Team by the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Woodson was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year with the in 2009 season which featured nine interceptions and three touchdowns. He is also sixth on the all time interceptions list with 65 and is tied for the most career defensive touchdowns with 13.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE, is back with the RAW edition.

- This week's RAW was live in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was being advertised for not only just wrestling, but also as their Slammy Awards Show. If you're new to the Slammy Awards Show, I'll explain it to you. The Slammy Awards is basically WWE's version of the Grammys or the Oscars. WWE rewards their superstars with trophies for being voted the best in whatever category they're nominated in. Usually categories range from Best Wrestler of the Year, Best Match of the Year, OMG Moment of the Year and a bunch of other categories to fill up the three hour show. WWE also announced Slammy winners throughout the whole day and also during the RAW Pre-Show. So lets get to the recap and see just who walked out with a Slammy this year.

- Stephanie McMahon Promo: Stephanie McMahon kicks off RAW in the ring and is smiling. Stephanie says even though Roman Reigns beat up Triple H and knocked out Vince McMahon, a McMahon never wallows in self pity, they rise up. Reigns' music hits for the interruption before she can continue. Reigns is also in a smiling mood. Reigns tells Stephanie to relay a message to Triple H....tell him Reigns is here and not hard to find. Stephanie begins screaming at Reigns and tells him to get out of her ring, but Reigns smirks and doesn't move. Reigns next turns his back on Stephanie, which angers her more. Reigns finally leaves by his own choice and Stephanie demands him to get back in the ring. Reigns leaves through the crowd, as Stephanie calls Reigns a coward. Stephanie announces that Reigns can watch his family get beaten down tonight as The Usos face The New Day in a 3-On-2 Handicap Match and Dean Ambrose faces Sheamus in a Steel Cage Match.

- Breakout Star Of The Year Slammy Winner: Dolph Ziggler presents the award and the winner is Neville. Kevin Owens interrupts and calls this crap, because he's the breakout star, he beat John Cena in his first WWE match. Neville tells Owens to shut up and leaves with his Slammy, as Ziggler laughs. Owens says Ziggler should be given a Has Been Award, which forces Ziggler to attack Owens. Ziggler and Owens brawl all over the RAW stage until WWE Officials separate them.

- Kane vs. Bray Wyatt (w/The Wyatt Family): The match closes out with Bray getting grabbed by the throat by Kane. The Wyatt Family all interfere, causing a DQ. Kane fights off the whole family inside and outside the ring, until he finally gets overpowered 4-On-1. Tommy Dreamer and The Dudley Boys hit the ring to even the odds and help Kane clear the ring.

Winner: Kane, by DQ

- "Eight Man Tag Team Match": The Dudley Boys, Tommy Dreamer and Kane vs. The Wyatt Family: The Authority immediately announced this impromptu match after the interference. The match closes out with a brawl breaking out on the floor. Inside the ring, Bubba slams Harper and Devon hits Whazzz Up on Harper. Rowan gets in the ring, but catches a 3D from the Dudleys. Strowman enters the ring and clotheslines both Dudleys. Kane clotheslines Strowman over the ropes. Harper is back up, hits the big Harper lariat on Devon and scores the pinfall.

Winners: The Wyatt Family, by pinfall

- LOL Moment of the Year Slammy Winner: Santino Marella presents the award and the winner is R-Truth for thinking he was in the Money In The Bank Match. Santino accepts the award for Truth, cause he's never won one before. Truth shows up, grabs his award and chases Santino backstage.

- OMG Shocking Moment of the Year Slammy Winner: Paul Heyman presents the award and the winner is Kalisto for Salida Del Sol through a ladder at WWE TLC.

- Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens: The match closes out with Ziggler countering the pop up power bomb and super kicking Owens to the floor. Ziggler follows, gets tossed onto the announcers table and then back into the ring. Ziggler hits the Famasser for a near fall on Owens. Ziggler charges at Owens, but Owens catches Ziggler with a pop up power bomb for the pinfall.

Winner: Kevin Owens, by pinfall

- Superstar of the Year Slammy Winner: Stephanie McMahon presents the award and the winner is Seth Rollins. Rollins returns, still on crutches. Rollins brags about the great 2015 he had, promises to rebuild himself and take back the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, that he never lost, when he comes back in 2016.

- It's announced that John Cena will return to WWE next Monday and face Alberto Del Rio.

- Jack Swagger vs. Alberto Del Rio (w/Rusev and King Barrett): The match closes out with Swagger countering a Del Rio kick, landing a slam and getting a near fall. Del Rio and Swagger end up on the top rope trading blows. Del Rio gets Swagger in the tree of woe and lands the double foot stomp for the pinfall. After the match, Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick on Swagger.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio, by pinfall

- "Hero in All of Us" Slammy Winner: Mark Henry presents the award and the winner is John Cena. Cena isn't present so Henry accepts the award for Cena.

- Surprise Return of the Year Slammy Winner: Bo Dallas dressed as Santa Claus presents the award and the winner is Sting. Sting isn't present so Dallas accepts the award.

- The New Day Promo: The New Day are in the ring and not happy. They hate that they lost Tag Team of the Year to The Usos. They hate that Sting wins an award and isn't even in the building. Big E blames the fans, so he threatens to ruin Star Wars, but Kofi stops him cause he hasn't seen it yet. The good thing though is they're still the WWE World Tag Team Champions.

- "3-On-2 Handicap Match": The Usos vs. The New Day: The match closes out with Jey hot tagging, unloads on Woods, hits a Rikishi Splash on Woods, unloads on Big E and gets a near fall on Kofi with a Samoan Drop. Jimmy tosses Kofi to the floor and The Usos suicide dive onto New Day on the floor. Big E grabs an Uso, but gets super kicked by the other Uso. Back in the ring, Woods goes for a rollup, but it's countered into an Uso rollup for the pinfall.

Winners: The Usos, by pinfall

- Diva of the Year Slammy Winner: R-Truth presents the award and the winner is Paige. Or is it? Truth says he messed up and Nikki Bella is really the winner. Nikki hugs a stunned Paige, gives a speech and takes her award.

- Rusev (w/Lana and The League of Nations) vs. Neville: The Miz is on commentary, stating how he can still help Neville. The match closes out with, Neville hitting a moonsault on Rusev on the floor. Back in the ring, Neville hits a super kick, but misses Red Arrow, as Rusev moves and super kicks Neville. Rusev stomps on Neville's back and locks in The Accolade submission. Neville has no choice but to tap out. After the match, Sheamus lands a Brogue Kick on Neville.

Winner: Rusev, by submission

- This Is Awesome Moment of the Year Slammy Winners: The Miz presents the award and the winners are The Rock and Ronda Rousey for their Wrestlemania 31 appearance together. Neither Rock or Rousey are present, so Miz accepts the award for them.

- Becky Lynch vs. Brie Bella: The match closes out with, Brie unloading Yes Kicks on Becky and follows up with the running Brie Knee, for a near fall. Brie cradles Becky, but Becky counters it into the Dis-Arm-Her submission and forces Brie to tap out.

Winner: Becky Lynch, by submission

- Match of the Year Slammy Winners: Ric Flair presents the award and the winners are Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker in Hell In A Cell. Paul Heyman accepts the award and says Lesnar has no desire to accept awards. The crowd wants Lesnar, but the fact is not one single wrestler in the locker room is man enough to want Lesnar.

- Backstage, The League of Nations are spotted attacking and beating down The Usos.

- "Steel Cage Match": Sheamus (w/League of Nations) vs. Dean Ambrose: Before the match starts, Ambrose gets jumped by the League of Nations outside the ring. The match closes out with Ambrose climbing the cage to escape, but gets road blocked by Alberto Del Rio and Rusev. Ambrose leaps off the cage and splashes Sheamus, then crawls to the cage door. Del Rio gets to the door and slams it on Ambrose's head. Roman Reigns appears out of nowhere and spears Rusev. Reigns grabs a steel chair and unloads chair shots on Del Rio.

Sheamus tries to climb out of the cage, but Reigns tosses Ambrose the chair, which Ambrose uses to unload chair shots on Sheamus. Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds on Sheamus on the chair and climbs the cage. Sheamus recoups and follows after Ambrose. Sheamus and Ambrose trade shots on top of the cage. Sheamus head butts Ambrose, causing Ambrose to fall off the cage, but to the outside to win the match. Sheamus, angry that he cost himself the match, climbs to the floor after Ambrose, but gets speared by Reigns.

Winner: Dean Ambrose, by escaping the cage

- RAW closes out with Stephanie McMahon, backstage beating up a reporter after he asked for her comment on the ending to the main event.
