Wrestling Lockup With Brandon 1/11/18: NXT Recap

NXT returned this week for more NXT action. Two weeks ago, Johnny Gargano became the new #1 Contender to the NXT World Championship. Ember Moon successfully defended her NXT Women's Championship against Sonya Deville. NXT was back at it in Atlanta, Georgia for this week's show after having a best of last week.

** NXT TV Card **

- Shayna Bazsler battled Dakota Kai.
- Kassius Ohno battled Raul Mendoza.
- Lars Sullivan battled Lio Rush.
- NXT World Tag Team Champions Undisputed Era defended their titles against Roderick Strong and Aleister Black.

** NXT **

- Shayna Baszler vs. Dakota Kai: The first match of the night saw the NXT debut of Baszler as she battled Dakota Kai. The match closes out with Baszler stomping repeatedly on Dakota's arm and elbow area, forcing the referee to step in and call off the match by stoppage. After the match, Baszler continues the assault and applies a sleeper on Dakota. Ember Moon finally hits the ring and makes the save. 

- Kassius Ohno vs. Raul Mendoza: The second match of the night saw Ohno battle Mendoza in a one on one match. The match closes out with Mendoza getting a near fall springboard kick. Mendoza ends up in the Electric Chair and gets dropped by Ohno. Ohno hits the rolling elbow on Mendoza and scores the pinfall.

- Lio Rush vs. Lars Sullivan: The third match of the night saw Lio Rush battle the monster called Lars. The match closes out with Rush dodging a Lars charge, but gets run over with a huge lariat, as he charged at Lars. Lars hits the Freak Accident and scores the pinfall. After the match, Lars challenges Killian Dain and then hits another Freak Accident on Rush.

- "NXT World Tag Team Championship Match": Undisputed Era (c) vs. Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe: The match never happens as SAnitY is found backstage laid out after Undisputed Era arrive in the ring. Nikki Cross tries to get revenge for SAnitY and hits the ring. NXT officials hold Nikki back as NXT GM William Regal arrives and announces that Undisputed Era is still defending their titles tonight against new challengers, Roderick Strong and Aleister Black.

- "NXT World Tag Team Championship Match": Undisputed Era (c) vs. Roderick Strong and Aleister Black: The match closes out with Black taking out Bobby Fish outside. Adam Cole distracts Black, forcing Black to chase Cole through the crowd. Fish and O'Reilly hit their double team finisher on Strong and score the pinfall to retain their titles. After the match, Black returns and unloads on Fish and O'Reilly. Cole returns and helps with the three on two on Strong and Black. Cole hits a fireman's carry onto a steel chair on Black. William Regal arrives and announces that it will be Adam Cole vs. Aleister Black in an Extreme Rules Match at Takeover: Philadelphia.

Wrestling Lockup With Brandon 12/28/17: NXT Recap

NXT returned this week for more NXT action at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. This week, a new number one contender to the NXT World Championship was decided. NXT Women's Champion Ember Moon was also in action, defending her championship against Sonya Deville.

** NXT TV Card **

- The Street Profits battled Kris Starr and Riley Apex.
- NXT Women's Champion Ember Moon defended her title against Sonya Deville.
- Johnny Gargano, Lars Sullivan, Aleister Black and Killian Dain battled in a Fatal Four Way Match to determine a new number one contender to the NXT World Championship. 

** NXT **

- The Street Profits vs. Kris Starr and Riley Apex: The first match of the night kicked off NXT with tag team action. The current undefeated Street Profits took on Kris Starr and Riley Apex. The match closes out with The Street Profits making quick work of their opponents. Dawkins hits a big spine buster and Ford follows with a frog splash to score the pinfall.

- "NXT Women's Championship Match": Ember Moon (c) vs. Sonya Deville: The second match of the night saw Ember Moon put her title on the line against Sonya Deville. The match closes out with Sonya locking in a bear hug, but Ember escapes, blocks a wheel barrow lift and sends Sonya into the corner. Ember unloads on Sonya and gets a near fall. Ember hits a springboard drop kick and finishes Sonya off with the Eclipse Stunner for the pinfall. After the match, Kairi Sane appears and stares down Ember. Shayna Baszler suddenly debuts on NXT and chokes Kairi out on the stage.


- "#1 Contenders, Fatal Four Way Match": Killian Dain vs. Lars Sullivan vs. Aleister Black vs. Johnny Gargano: The main event of the show saw the Fatal Four Way Match to crown a new #1 Contender to the NXT World Championship. The match closes out with Sullivan taking out Black and Gargano then faces off with Dain. Black comes back in and unloads strikes on both Dain and Sullivan. Black nails the Black Mass kick and covers, but Undisputed Era hit the ring and interrupt the match. Gargano unloads on Undisputed Era and then tries to cover Black. Sullivan gets sent into the steel steps and then Gargano sends Dain into Sullivan after a counter. Gargano hits a leaping DDT and scores the pinfall to take the victory.

Wrestling Lockup With Brandon 12/21/17: NXT Recap

NXT returned this week for more NXT action at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. This week, NXT had the NXT World Tag Team Championship as well as the WWE United Kingdom Championship on the line this week. 

** NXT TV Card **

- NXT World Tag Team Champions SAnitY defended their titles against The Undisputed Era.
- Roderick Strong battled Lars Sullivan for the last #1 Contenders Fatal Four Way spot.
- WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne defended his title against Tyler Bate.

** NXT **

- "NXT World Tag Team Championship Match": SAnitY (c) vs. Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish: The first match of the show saw Eric Young and Killian Dain of SAnitY putting the tag team titles on the line against Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish of Undisputed Era. The match closes out with EY going for the elbow drop off the top rope, but Adam Cole crotches him in the corner. Nikki Cross appears from the crowd, tackles Cole on the floor and beats on him. Nikki gets dragged away by officials as Cole shoves Dain into the ringpost. EY gets distracted by what's going on outside, gets hit with O'Reilly and Fish's double team finisher for the pinfall and O'Reilly and Fish leave the new tag team champions.



- Roderick Strong vs. Lars Sullivan: The second match of the night saw Strong and Sullivan battle it out to determine who would get the last spot in the #1 Contenders Fatal Four Way Match. The match closes out with Strong escaping a bear hug with claps to the head of Sullivan. Sullivan misses a kick on a charge and gets hung up in the ropes. Strong unloads on Sullivan while hung up until escaping and going to the top rope. Strong cuts off Sullivan and hits a superplex for a one count. Strong hits an Angle Slam for a near fall. Sullivan hits a pop up power slam on Strong and then hits the Freak Accident for the pinfall.

- "WWE United Kingdom Championship Match": Pete Dunne (c) vs. Tyler Bate: The main event of the show saw Dunne defend his title against Bate one on one in a rubber match between the two. Bate took the first match and Dunne took the second match. The match closes out with Dunne countering Tyler Driver 97 with a Triangle Lock submission. Bate finds a way to power out and slam Dunne. Bate airplane spins Dunne ten times, reverses into another ten and then reverses again into another ten spins. Bate uses the ropes to catapult suplex Dunne for a near fall. Bate and Dunne trade punches back and forth until Dunne hits the Bitter End for a near fall. Both men turn each other inside out with clotheslines. Out to the apron, Bate roll kicks Dunne and then climbs the ropes. Dunne counters Bate's high risk move with a huge punch. Dunne with a sit down power bomb on Bate for another near fall. Bate hits a rebound clothesline on Dunne outside and then hits a suicide dive. Back in the ring, Bate hits Tyler Driver 97 on Dunne for another near fall. Dunne counters a top rope german suplex from Bate, hits the Bitter End and scores the pinfall to retain the title.

Wrestling Lockup With Brandon 12/14/17: NXT Recap

NXT returned this week for more NXT action at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. This week, NXT was shown not only on the WWE Network, but it was also shown as a special on the USA Network. There have been rumors of WWE possibly bringing NXT to the USA Network, this was kind of a test run.

** NXT TV Card **

- NXT World Champion Andrade "Cien" Almas battled Fabian Aichner in a non title match
- The Authors of Pain battled Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch.
- NXT Women's Champion Ember Moon battled Peyton Royce in a non title match.
- Aleister Black battled Adam Cole in a qualifying match for the #1 Contenders Fatal Four Way Match.

** NXT **

- Andrade "Cien" Almas vs. Fabian Aichner: The first match of the night saw the NXT World Champion Almas battle up and comer Aichner. Aichner took it to Almas with a flying suicide dive and a springboard DDT for a near fall. Almas finally fights back and sends Aichner hard into the steel steps. Almas hits the Hammerlock DDT on Aichner and scores the pinfall.


- The Authors of Pain vs. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch: Lorcan and Burch put up a small fight against AOP, until AOP hit double Death Valley Drivers into the corner. AOP hit the Super Collider and follow that up with The Last Chapter to take the quick pinfall.

- Ember Moon vs. Peyton Royce: This match was a WWE Network exclusive match only and wasn't shown on the USA Network due to commercial time needed. Peyton held her own against the NXT Women's Champion, as Billie Kay was also at ringside pulling off distraction antics. Ember hits the Eclipse Stunner on Peyton and scores the pinfall. After the match, Billie Kay helps Peyton two on one attack Ember, sending Ember face first into Billie's knee. Nikki Cross suddenly hits the ring and unloads on Peyton and Billie, chasing them both from the ring. Nikki eyes Ember and the NXT Women's Championship lying on the mat until running off into the crowd. 

- Adam Cole vs. Aleister Black: The main event of the show saw Cole and Black battle in a one on one match with the winner advancing to the Fatal Four Way Match to determine a new #1 Contender. Cole gets a near fall Back Stabber. Both men traded shots on each other until Cole gets a near fall neck breaker. Black counters the super kick and hits Cole with a high knee. Black hits the Black Mass kick on Cole and scores the pinfall.

Wrestling Lockup With Brandon 12/7/17: NXT Recap

NXT returned this week for more NXT action at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. This week, the new NXT World Champion Andrade "Cien" Almas was in the building to celebrate his world title victory from NXT WarGames.

** NXT TV Card **

- Trent Seven battled Killian Dain.
- Ruby Riot battled Sonya Deville in a No Holds Barred Match.
- Kassius Ohno battled Johnny Gargano.

- New NXT World Champion Andrade "Cien" Almas celebrates his world title victory.

** NXT **

- Andrade "Cien" Almas' World Title Celebration: New NXT World Champion Andrade "Cien" Almas kicked off this week's show with the celebration of his title win at NXT WarGames. Zelina Vega says we're all witnesses to a historic championship reign. Almas says he told us all he'd do it and then sarcastically apologizes for injuring and defeating Drew McIntyre. Almas brags about being the new NXT World Champion and we need to all embrace the legend. 

- "Fatal Four Way Qualifying Match": Trent Seven vs. Killian Dain: NXT GM William Regal announced at the beginning of the show that there would be four one on one matches with the winners advancing to a Fatal Four Way Match to determine a new #1 Contender to the NXT World Championship. Seven hits the Seven Stars Lariat on Dain, but Dain kicks out at two and a half. Dain counters a slam, drops Seven and then hits a senton to score the pinfall.

- "No Holds Barred Match": Ruby Riot vs. Sonya Deville: The second match of the night saw Ruby and Sonya continuing their fued in a No Holds Barred Match. Both ladies unload on each other. Ruby with a springboard DDT on Sonya and then a suicide dive. Sonya catches Ruby and traps her in a triangle choke submission. Ruby refuses to tap out and ends up passing out, forcing the referee to stop the match. 

- "Fatal Four Way Qualifying Match": Kassius Ohno vs. Johnny Gargano: Originally it was supposed to be The Velveteen Dream battling Ohno, but due to injury it wasn't to be. The main event of the show saw Ohno battle Gargano to determine spot number two in the Fatal Four Way Match. Gargano counters an electric chair drop and gets a near fall rollup on Ohno. Ohno attempted the rolling elbow on Gargano, but Gargano counters and unloads three stiff kicks. Gargano with a spinning head scissors on Ohno and turns that into the Gargano Escape submission. Ohno can't fight it and ends up tapping out.

Wrestling Lockup With Brandon 11/30/17: NXT Recap

NXT returned this week for more NXT action in San Antonio, Texas. The United Kingdom division was in action again this week as WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne and Mark Andrews teamed up to take on Trent Seven and Tyler Bate.

** NXT TV Card **

- The Street Profits battled Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss.
- Kairi Sane battled Peyton Royce.
- WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne and Mark Andrews battled Trent Seven and Tyler Bate.

** NXT **

- The Profits/Tino & Moss Part 2: Two weeks ago, The Street Profits defeated Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss in tag team action. This week both teams kicked off the show in a second battle with Moss and Tino looking for revenge. Tino hits an elbow on Dawkins and goes for the cover. Moss reaches in and holds down Dawkins so he can't kick out, but gets busted by the referee. Ford senton's on to Moss, taking him out then blind tags Dawkins. Dawkins lays out Tino with a pop up spinebuster and Ford follows with a splash off the ropes for the pinfall.

- Kairi Sane vs. Peyton Royce: The second match of the night saw Mae Young Classic Tournament Winner Kairi Sane battle Peyton Royce in women's action. Kairi comes off the ropes, but gets hit with a Peyton knee for a near fall. Peyton can't believe it and starts flipping out. Kairi unloads boots and forearms on Peyton and then hits the Insane Elbow off the ropes for the pinfall.

- The Bruiserweight Invades Mustache Mountain: The main event of the show saw Pete Dunne team up with Mark Andrews to battle Trent Seven and Tyler Bate. Andrews was asked before the match why he was teaming with Dunne tonight. Andrews stated that if he and Dunne won, Dunne was promising Andrews a shot at the WWE United Kingdom Championship. Dunne and Andrews hit an incredible frankensteiner into a sitdown power bomb on Bate. Bate lifts Andrews up in the end and airplane spins him as Dunne blind tags in. Dunne hits a punch on Bate and sends him to the ropes. Bate rebounds back, lands an uppercut on Dunne and hits Tyler Driver 97 for the pinfall. After the match, Dunne attacks Andrews and lays him out with The Bitter End.

Wrestling Lockup With Brandon 11/23/17: NXT Recap

NXT returned this week for more NXT action in Houston, Texas. This week, we begin new feuds moving forward after NXT WarGames last Saturday night. Also WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne defended his title against Johnny Gargano.

** NXT TV Card **

- Ruby Riot battled Sonya Deville.
- WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne defended his title against Johnny Gargano.

** NXT **

- Main Roster Call Ups In Action: The first match of the show saw Ruby Riot battle Sonya Deville in one on one action. Sonya Deville debuted this week on the main roster with Monday Night RAW as did Ruby Riot with Smackdown Live. Sonya spends some time in the match going after Ruby's leg, injuring it. Sonya is able to apply a leg submission on Ruby, but Ruby just makes the ropes to escape. Sonya argues with the referee which allows Ruby to hit the arm wringer kick for the win.

- Recapping NXT WarGames: Next up we get a complete recap of NXT WarGames. Aleister Black defeated The Velveteen Dream. Lars Sullivan explains how he felt after beating Kassius Ohno. New NXT Women's Champion Ember Moon is interviewed and says it's a dream come true to win the championship. Drew McIntyre is interviewed and is upset about his torn bicep injury and isn't sure when he'll be back. We get a full recap of the WarGames match between Undisputed Era/Authors of Pain, Roderick Strong and SAnitY.

- WWE United Kingdom Championship On The Line: The main event of the show saw the bruiserweight Pete Dunne defend his WWE United Kingdom Championship against Johnny Gargano. Gargano traps Dunne in the Gargano Escape, but Dunne escapes by biting Gargano. Both men trade shots until Gargano hits a super kick on Dunne and gets a two and a half. Dunne lands a huge shot on Gargano and finishes him off with The Bitter End to retain his title.

NXT Takeover: War Games Recap

What's up wrestling fans, last night NXT presented NXT WarGames on the WWE Network live in Orlando, Florida at Full Sail University. For the first time in 20 years the double ring steel cage, which has been known to shorten careers, made its presence felt.

** NXT WarGames Card **

** WarGames returned with The Undisputed Era, Roderick Strong/The Authors of Pain and SAnitY all battling inside the double ring steel cage match.
** NXT World Champion Drew McIntyre defended his title against Andrade "Cien" Almas.
** Kairi Sane, Ember Moon, Peyton Royce and Nikki Cross battled in a Fatal Four Way Match to determine a new NXT Women's Champion.
** Aleister Black battled The Velveteen Dream.
** Kassius Ohno battled Lars Sullivan.

** NXT WarGames **

- Kassius Ohno vs. Lars Sullivan: The first match of NXT WarGames kicked off with Kassius Ohno battling the undefeated in singles action, Lars Sullivan. The match closes out with Lars missing the diving headbutt and then trades shots with Ohno. Ohno unloads kicks, a blow to the jaw and then an elbow to the head of Lars. Ohno hits a flying elbow to the back of the head on Lars, but Lars is still standing. Ohno connects with a Cyclone Kick for a near fall. Ohno unloads stomps and a senton for a near fall. Both men trade shots until Ohno lands a discus elbow on Lars. Lars ducks a second attempted discus elbow and nails the Freak Accident on Ohno to score the pinfall.
Winner: Lars Sullivan, by pinfall.

- Aleister Black vs. The Velveteen Dream: The second match of the night saw Aleister Black battle The Velveteen Dream. Dream had been spending the entire feud trying to get Black to say his name, but Black has refused to say it. The match closes out with Black unloading kicks and a knee to Dream. Black hits a splash and a springboard moonsault for a near fall. Black counters a DVD and lands a kick until Dream hits the DVD for a near fall. Dream tries a Super DVD, but gets his leg kicked out from under him by Black. Black hits a running knee and gets a very close near fall. Dream catches Black and hits a modified DDT for a near fall. Dream climbs the ropes, dances, leaps off and eats a Black boot that sends Dream into the ropes tying him up in them. Black drills Dream with a boot while tied up, but Dream gets loose and nails a super kick on Black. Black lands a knee to the face of Dream getting Dream to talk trash. Black hits the Black Mass kick on Dream and scores the pinfall.
Winner: Aleister Black, by pinfall.

- After the match, Aleister Black sits Indian style next to Dream and says "Enjoy Infamy, Velveteen Dream", finally saying Dream's name.

- "NXT Women's Championship Fatal Four Way Match": Ember Moon vs. Peyton Royce vs. Kairi Sane vs. Nikki Cross: The third match of the night saw the Fatal Four Way Match to crown a new NXT Women's Championship after Asuka had to vacate the title due to injury. The match closes out with Ember breaking up a Kairi submission and then trades shots with Peyton. Ember plants a forearm on Kairi, but Kairi ducks a clothesline and spears Peyton. Kairi hits a spinning back fist on Ember, but gets cut off by Ember on the ropes. Ember, Kairi and Peyton all hit a tower of doom suplex off the ropes, putting all three down. Nikki nails a cross body block on all three ladies, unloads on all three and gets it down to just her and Ember in the ring.
Ember nails a boot, but gets nailed with a forearm while trying to slingshot at Nikki. Nikki with a neck breaker on Ember and gets a near fall. Peyton rushes in, hits a fisherman's suplex on Nikki, hooks the leg and gets a near fall. Kairi hits an Alabama Slam on Peyton, slamming her on top of Nikki. Kairi climbs the ropes and hits the InSane Elbow on both Peyton and Nikki, but Ember stops the pinfall. Peyton crotches Ember on the ropes and then sends Kairi to the floor with a knee. Peyton and Nikki go at it when suddenly Ember leaps off the ropes and hits both Peyton and Nikki with the Eclipse Stunner. Ember covers Nikki, scores the pinfall and walks out the new champion.
Winner: Ember Moon, by pinfall, to win the NXT Women's Championship.

- After the match, NXT GM William Regal and former NXT Women's Champion Asuka present the title to Ember. 

- "NXT World Championship Match": Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Andrade "Cien" Almas: After weeks of demanding a world title shot, Almas finally received it tonight after jumping Drew McIntyre and getting his attention. The match closes out with Almas hitting a double stomp and then double knees for a near fall. McIntyre hits a sitdown power bomb on Almas for a near fall. McIntyre trades offense and then hits the Future Shock DDT on Almas for a near fall. Almas counters a Super Celtic Cross and sends McIntyre face first into the turnbuckle. Almas hits the Drive Thru knee and gets a near fall. Almas gets upset that he can't pin McIntyre, rolls outside and grabs the title. The referee stops Almas and misses Zelina Vega spike McIntyre into the mat. Almas grabs McIntyre, hits the Hammerlock DDT and still only gets a near fall. McIntyre drills Almas with the Claymore Kick and covers, but Vega puts Almas' foot on the ropes. McIntyre misses a second Claymore Kick and crotches himself in the ropes. Almas hits a Hammerlock DDT on McIntyre off the ropes and scores the upset pinfall to win the title.
Winner: Andrade "Cien" Almas, by pinfall, to win the NXT World Championship.


- "WarGames Match": Undisputed Era vs. The Authors of Pain and Roderick Strong vs. SAnitY: Eric Young, Adam Cole and Roderick Strong started things off inside the cage. Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly were next in. The Authors of Pain entered second and finally SAnitY entered last to start WarGames. Killian Dain tossed weapons and tables into the ring while Wolfe unloaded on everyone with a night stick. O'Reilly misses a chair shot and hits himself on the ricochet. Wolfe scoop slams Cole on a garbage can. Dain unloads on AOP and hits senton dropkicks on both. Dain hits a Cross body off the ropes, taking everyone out and gets a near fall on Akam. Cole and Fish try to unload on Dain, but Dain hits a Michinoku Driver on Cole on top of Fish for a near fall.
Dain tosses Fish and O'Reilly into the cage wall and then hits a Samoan Drop and Fallaway Slam on both Strong and Cole. Dain and Rezar trade shots in between both rings. Dain and Akam trade boots and then Akam gets a near fall power slam. Young hits a suplex on Cole, but Cole returns with an enziguri. O'Reilly wraps a steel chain around Wolfe's face and arm and applies an armbar submission, but Young makes the save with a flying elbow. Fish hits a moonsault on Young and all nine men are down. AOP hit a Super Collider, with Dain stuck in the middle. Young grabs Rezar off the ropes and hits a DVD on Akam. Cole and Strong trade shots until Strong unloads back breakers on his knee on everyone. Strong with a high knee and an Angle Slam on Dain for a near fall. All nine men brawl on the cage wall in between both rings until a double tower of doom hits on both sides with Cole the only one still standing.
Cole gets crotched by AOP as they set up two tables. Wolfe and Young jump AOP as Cole climbs the cage wall. Wolfe hits a super german suplex on Akam, putting them both through two tables. Dain clotheslines O'Reilly, places a garbage can by his face and hits a coast to coast off the ropes. Cole stands on top of the cage as Strong climbs up and trades shots with him. Strong superplexes Cole off the top of the cage and on top of the other seven men in the ring, laying all nine men out again. AOP hit The Last Chapter on Dain. Fish and O'Reilly hit Total Elimination on Akam. Young and Fish battle while Wolfe and O'Reilly battle. Strong sends Cole into the cage wall. Young with a wheelbarrow suplex on Strong into the cage wall. Cole lands a kendo stick shot on Young and then knees a steel chair into Young's head to finally score the pinfall.
Winners: The Undisputed Era, by pinfall.

Wrestling Lockup With Brandon 11/16/17: NXT Recap

NXT returned this week for more NXT action at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. This week, we were just three short days away from NXT WarGames live on the WWE Network this Saturday night.

** NXT TV Card **

- Making A Profit: In the opening match of NXT, The Street Profits battled Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss. Sabbatelli/Riddick and The Profits agreed to this match after The Profits had been mocking Sabbatelli and Moss on how they throw their money around on expensive stuff. The Profits defeat Sabbatelli and Moss after hitting spinning clotheslines on both men and then hitting their finisher.  

- Lars Sullivan Continues To Dominate: The undefeated Lars Sullivan stepped into the ring for the second match of the night against Raul Mendoza. Sullivan destroys Mendoza with corner splashes and a power slam. Sullivan hits the Freak Accident on Mendoza and gets the win. Sullivan continued the onslaught after the match until Kassius Ohno hits the ring and makes the save. 

- Mercedes Gets Eclipsed And A Stare Down Follows: The third match of the night saw Ember Moon battle Mercedes Martinez in a one on one match. Ember hits the Eclipse Stunner on Mercedes and gets the victory. After the match, Nikki Cross arrives from the crowd and stares down Ember. Peyton Royce arrives next and stares down Ember from the ramp. Kairi Sane arrives next and stares down Ember from the stage while pointing her elbow at her.

- McIntyre And Almas Face To Face: Drew McIntyre congratulates Andrade "Cien" Almas for the way that he got his title shot at NXT WarGames. McIntyre wonders if Almas can handle the pressure and wants Almas to come out and face him like a man, just as long as Zelina Vega let's him off his leash. Zelina arrives first, then Almas follows and then storms to the ring. Almas and McIntyre swing at each other with McIntyre gaining control. Zelina leaps at McIntyre, but gets caught in mid air and set aside. Almas sucker punches McIntyre and then lays him out with the Hammerlock DDT. Almas and Zelina pose with the NXT World Championship before tossing it on McIntyre's body to end the show.
