Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE, brings you the RAW Recap for the week.
This week RAW was live in Detroit, Michigan. As Wrestlemania 33 gets closer, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman prepare for the WWE Universal Championship Match against Goldberg. RAW GM Mick Foley is ordered by Stephanie McMahon that he must fire a RAW talent by the end of the show. Who did Foley choose? Sasha Banks battled Dana Brooke in one on one Women's Division action. TJ Perkins and Akira Tozawa battled Brian Kendrick and Tony Nese in Cruiserweight Division tag team action. Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho teamed up to battle Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe. Enzo and Big Cass battled Sheamus and Cesaro in a #1 Contenders Match. Roman Reigns battled Jinder Mahal in a one on one match. Austin Aries battled Ariya Daivari in one on one Cruiserweight Division action. Big Show battled Titus O'Neil in a one on one match. WWE RAW Women's Champion Bayley battled Nia Jax in a one on one non title match.
** RAW **
- Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman Promo: Paul Heyman makes fun of Goldberg for getting an F5 last week, says Lesnar is taking the WWE Universal Championship at Wrestlemania 33, Goldberg will suffer another F5 and will be conquered by the beast.
- Backstage, Stephanie McMahon promises to teach Mick Foley things she's learned over the years that made her the boss she is today. Stephanie says Foley's first test will be to go over the RAW roster and fire the worthless talent so they can improve RAW. Stephanie gives Foley till the end of the show to make his final decision.
- Sasha Banks vs. Dana Brooke: WWE RAW Women's Champion Bayley and Charlotte were on commentary. The match closes out with Sasha getting the quick win on Dana with a rollup pinfall. After the match, Charlotte mocks Dana Brooke and says Dana isn't good enough to be in Charlotte's corner. Dana nails Charlotte and then beats her down. Charlotte finally escapes the ring and is in shock that Dana attacked her. Winner: Sasha Banks, by pinfall.
- It's announced that Rutgers Football stand out Eric LeGrand will receive the 2o17 Warrior Award at the WWE Hall of Fame.
- TJ Perkins and Akira Tozawa vs. Brian Kendrick and Tony Nese: The match closes out with Perkins hitting a DDT on Nese for a near fall. Tozawa plants a kick on Kendrick. Nese shoves Perkins into Tozawa and then rolls Perkins up with a handful of tights for the pinfall. Winners: Brian Kendrick and Tony Nese, by pinfall.
- Backstage, WWE RAW World Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson state that they don't care who wins the #1 Contenders Match tonight because the spotlight belongs on The Club.
- Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe vs. Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho: The match closes out with Zayn brawling with both Owens and Joe, sending them both outside. Zayn suicide dives onto Joe and Owens and grabs his knee in pain. Back in the ring, Owens takes out Zayn's knee and he and Joe double team Zayn. The referee calls the DQ as Joe and Owens refuse to let up. After the match, Jericho makes the save as Joe goes for the Coquina Clutch on Zayn. Jericho and Owens brawl until Joe attacks Jericho. Jericho gets double teamed and then planted with an Owens Pop Up Power Bomb. Winners: Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho, by DQ.
- Backstage, Stephanie McMahon offers to help Mick Foley pick someone to fire and suggests Sami Zayn. Nia Jax appears and demands justice against Sasha Banks. Stephanie agrees that Nia deserves the spotlight and gives her a non title match against WWE RAW Women's Champion Bayley.
- Backstage, Jinder Mahal approaches Mick Foley and is worried he's getting fired. Foley puts Mahal in a match against Roman Reigns.
- Backstage, The New Day introduce their new talk show New Day Talks and interviews Big Show about his new Jetsons cartoon movie. Titus O'Neil interrupts, says he doesn't care about The New Day's talk show, or Big Show, he just wants to talk about The Titus Brand. Titus shoves Show and walks off.
- "#1 Contenders Match": Enzo and Big Cass vs. Cesaro and Sheamus: The match closes out with Cass countering Sheamus' Ten Beats and lands back elbows. Cass with the Big Boot sending Sheamus flying off the apron. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson suddenly appear from the crowd and attack everyone getting the match thrown out. After the match, Cass gets tossed into the barricade and Sheamus gets beat down. Enzo gets beat down next and then Cesaro gets planted with the Magic Killer. Winners: No Contest.
- Backstage, Mick Foley confronts Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson and isn't happy with what they did. Foley threatens to fire both of them no matter if they're champions or not. Foley announces that The Club will defend their titles at Wrestlemania 33 against both Enzo and Big Cass and Sheamus and Cesaro.
- Jinder Mahal vs. Roman Reigns: The match closes out with The Undertaker's gong going off and distracting Reigns. Mahal tries to take advantage, but eventually eats a Superman Punch from Reigns and Reigns scores the pinfall. Winner: Roman Reigns, by pinfall.
- Roman Reigns Promo: Reigns says he's not playing around, he's calling The Undertaker out right now. Mr. Wrestlemania himself Shawn Michaels interrupts instead and meets with Reigns. Michaels tells Reigns that Undertaker is already in Reigns' head and if he continues to let Taker do that than Taker will defeat Reigns easy at Wrestlemania. Reigns says it's not happening and people keep asking him what it's like to be in the ring with Taker....they should be asking Taker what it's like to be in the ring with Reigns. Reigns says that Taker retired Michaels and come Wrestlemania, Reigns will retire Taker. Reigns drops the microphone and heads up the RAW stage. Braun Strowman suddenly comes out of nowhere and lands a cheap shot on Reigns, laying him out. WWE Officials check on Reigns as Strowman threatens to do the same to Michaels.
- Backstage, Mick Foley tries to talk Stephanie McMahon out of firing someone. Stephanie again says Foley needs to pick someone or she'll pick someone for him and he won't like it.
- Austin Aries vs. Ariya Daivari: The match closes out with Aries hitting a shinbuster, dumps Daivari to the mat then hits the running elbow to score the pinfall. After the match, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville is shown watching the match. Winner: Austin Aries, by pinfall.
- Big Show vs. Titus O'Neil: The match closes out with Titus delivering a slam to Show. Show gets back up and delivers three straight choke slams to Titus to score the pinfall. Winner: Big Show, by pinfall.
- Backstage, Sasha Banks tells Bayley that Nia Jax is beatable and not to listen to the people that think she's not championship material. Sasha wishes her luck and can't wait to steal the show with Bayley at Wrestlemania 33.
- Backstage, Chris Jericho says next week he's having a special Highlight Reel and he's going to tell the world about the REAL Kevin Owens.
- Bayley vs. Nia Jax: The match closes out with Nia trapping Bayley in a bear hug and then dumps Bayley outside. Nia brings Bayley back inside and hits two splashes in the corner. Nia unloads a headbutt on Bayley and a series of shoulder thrusts. The referee warns Nia to back off, but she refuses, forcing the referee to DQ Nia. After the match, Nia continues to beat down Bayley as the referee tries to help her. Nia takes Bayley outside and tosses her into the barricade. Winner: Bayley, by DQ.
- Stephanie McMahon And Mick Foley Face To Face: Stephanie is in the ring with Mick Foley so he can announce who he's firing. Foley says he knows this decision will make him a better General Manager, so he's chosen to fire....Stephanie McMahon. Foley yells at Stephanie for the way she treats the RAW roster, calls Stephanie a liar and a very bad person. Foley rips on Stephanie some more, then rips on Triple H and says he will not be silenced. Triple H's music hits and out comes Triple H to confront Foley. Triple H dares Foley to say something to his face. Triple H and Foley trade insults back and forth with each other and Triple H says if it was up to him Foley never would've been his choice for RAW GM.
Triple H says he spends his time creating talent in NXT so he doesn't have to have pathetic has beens like Foley around. Triple H compares Stephanie to Vince McMahon because she is a professional business woman. Foley says he doesn't need this job and doesn't care what people think of him. Triple H rips on Foley's daughter Noelle wanting to be a wrestler and rips on his son Dewey who works at WWE Head Quarters. Triple H says that maybe Foley can give Dewey a ride to the unemployment office and then tells Foley to get the hell out of his ring. Stephaine says to let that be a lesson to everyone.
Foley suddenly attacks Triple H and shoves Mr. Socko into Triple H's mouth. Stephanie low blows Foley allowing Triple H to take control. Seth Rollins suddenly appears, drops his crutch, showing that he might be at 100% and hits the ring. Rollins and Triple H brawl and Rollins sends Triple H outside. Triple H grabs the crutch and catches Rollins in his bad leg with a crutch shot. Triple H unloads more crutch shots, locks in a Figure Four leglock and connects with another crutch shot to the leg as WWE Officials break things up. Rollins is grasping his leg in pain as RAW ends.

Wrestling Q&A is my way of getting into social media, whether Facebook, Twitter, or any other means of communication to hear other fans' wrestling ideas on how they would book a match or an angle. I am currently apart of a few different wrestling groups on Facebook where we talk about nothing but wrestling and of course I am vocal on Twitter. My idea basically is to fire a question into the groups on Facebook or onto Twitter and sit back and read what other fans would do and of course with this article that you're reading I will share hopefully some interesting and I'm sure off the wall answers, but that's what makes social media great! - The first ever elimination chamber match. One of the few times Shawn Michaels' hair was short lol
- The ECW Elimination Chamber Match. I wish they had more elimination chamber matches where they enter with weapons.
- The 2002 and 2003 Elimination Chamber matches.
- The night John Cena retained the WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber only to lose the Championship to The Rated R Superstar EDGE!
- When Santino almost won the title.
- HBK returning and winning the title in the chamber.
- Edge winning the 2011 Chamber match.
- When hbk attacked the undertaker.
- Taker reverse choke slam on MVP off the chamber pod it was brutal.
- The 1st one, with HBK winning the WHC.
- Being there for the first one and watching my two favorites Jericho and triple h team up in it for a bit. Also the ending sequence to the smackdown one 2009 triple h vs taker
- Evolution destroying GOLDBERG!!!!
- Taker and Batista flipping over the ropes into a Taker tombstone.
- Goldberg killing everyone.
- Goldberg slipping on his entrance.
- Edge taking Kofi's spot in the second chamber match and winning the world championship after losing the wwe title earlier in the night.

** My Top 3 Favorite Moments **
1.) Shawn Michaels wins the World Heavyweight Championship in the debut Elimination Chamber Match: What a moment it was for Shawn Michaels back in 2002. After being retired for 4 years due to a back injury, Michaels made his return to the WWE at 100%. Michaels lasted to the very end of the Chamber match with his real life best friend Triple H, countered the Pedigree and scored Sweet Chin Music to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Michaels would go on to entertain us for 7 more years until finally being able to retire on his own terms.
2.) Shawn Michaels again makes my list at number two, but this time it was what he did during the match that he wasn't even in. The final two superstars came down to Chris Jericho and The Undertaker with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line. Just as it looked like Taker was about to retain his title, Shawn Michaels popped out one of the outside steel grates and climbed into the chamber from below. Michaels would go on to hit Sweet Chin Music on Taker and help Chris Jericho score the pinfall to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Michaels did it because Taker refused to give him a match at Wrestlemania of that year. After costing Undertaker the title, Michaels got his match.
3. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan both survive their 2012 EC matches and go on to Wrestlemania 28: It's hard to believe that at one time in the WWE, two independent wrestling icons Daniel Bryan and CM Punk both held the top two titles in the company, the WWE World Title and the World Heavyweight Championship. Another favorite moment of mine was when both Bryan and Punk were forced to defend their titles in Elimination Chamber Matches. Both men entered the chamber and both men walked out still holding their world titles.
- Honorable Mentions #1: Edge losing the WWE World Title in the first Elimination Chamber Match of the night and then attack Kofi Kingston, enter the second Elimination Chamber Match in Kofi's spot and winning the World Heavyweight Championship.
- Honorable Mentions #2: Edge cashing in Money In The Bank on John Cena after Cena survived the Elimination Chamber.

- Goldberg Returns!: This past Monday on RAW, Goldberg made his return for the first time in 12 years to the WWE. Goldberg accepted Paul Heyman's challenge to wrestle Brock Lesnar anytime, anyplace. The match is rumored to be taking place at WWE Survivor Series in November.
- Survivor Series Matches Set: This past Monday on RAW, Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley accepted Smackdown Live's challenge of three separate Survivor Series Elimination matches, with each one having the top superstars, ladies and tag teams. All three matches will take place at WWE Survivor Series.
- Could AJ Styles vs. Shawn Michaels Happen At Royal Rumble?: Earlier this week a wrestling fan made a fan made Royal Rumble poster which you can check out above, showing AJ Styles and Shawn Michaels meeting face to face. Styles shared the poster on social media and has been very open about wanting to fight Shawn Michaels. The 2017 Royal Rumble takes place in San Antonio, Texas, Shawn Michaels' hometown, which could make the match possible if both parties really agreed to it. Shawn Michaels, who is currently 51 years old and hasn't wrestled in seven years, has been firmly sticking by the fact that he lost his career to The Undertaker and wouldn't want to go back on his word of retiring and coming back. Michaels has yet to comment on the rumors, but Styles stated the following:
“I would love the opportunity to wrestle him. I’d love to learn from him, but who’s to say if that’s going to happen. Right now, it’s all speculation and rumors that I’m finding out like everyone else is, but man, what a match that would be.”
- The Boogeyman Returning: Sources are saying that there is a possibility that The Boogeyman may be returning to the WWE soon. The Boogeyman has been turning down independent wrestling show offers stating that he can't compete due to a future obligation to the WWE.
- Paige Proposes To Alberto Del Rio: It was reported that Paige asked Alberto Del Rio to marry her in the middle of the ring at a WWC show in Puerto Rico, where Del Rio said yes. Paige's father, UK wrestling star and promoter Ricky Knight, is said to be upset over the whole thing. Knight made is voice heard about it on Facebook, but deleted the post. Many are claiming that it's all a work to set up a match between Del Rio and Knight in Knight's UK wrestling promotion. Paige is currently serving a 60 day suspension from WWE after failing her second Wellness Policy. Del Rio, who was let go by WWE a month ago is taking independent wrestling bookings and is said to be interested in signing with TNA and ROH.

- Roderick Strong Debuts: Former ROH World Heavyweight Champion Roderick Strong made his official NXT debut this week, as he was Austin Aries' mystery partner in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Tournament Classic.
- Brennan Williams Debuts: Former NFL player Brennan Williams, who wrestled for Booker T's Reality of Wrestling promotion, made his in-ring singles debut for NXT on Thursday night in Lakeland, FL. Williams lost his debut to Lince Dorado.
- New NXT Recruits: WWE announced on Wednesday that new recruits Tommy End, Big Damo and “Crazy” Mary Dobson joined NXT at the WWENXT Performance Center. The trio are three internationally acclaimed Superstars that have made a name on the Independent wrestling scene.
- New NXT Announcer Signed: Former WESH 2 Orlando reporter Kayla Becker recently signed with the WWE and will be working for NXT as an announcer soon. According to Squared Circle Sirens she will be going by the name Kayla Braxton. Becker also recently announced it officially on her Facebook page on Friday.
- WWE Suspends NXT Talent Indefinitely: WWENXT developmental talent Terrance Jean-Jacques has been suspended indefinitely after being arrested on charges related to a domestic violence incident involving his pregnant ex-girlfriend. Jean-Jacques, 24, was charged Wednesday, three days after his arrest for assault and battery, kidnapping, witness intimidation, destruction of property and threatening to commit a crime in Haverhill District Court in Massachusetts. He's alleged to have pushed his ex-girlfriend, who is six months pregnant with his child, while attempting to prevent her from leaving. In a statement to ESPN, the WWE cited its domestic violence policy and stated the following:
"We have zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Terrance Jean-Jacques has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest."
*** TNA *** - TNA Recap:
-- Cody Rhodes cuts a promo: Cody tells a story about why he left WWE and what his father said to him when Cody told him he wanted to be a wrestler 15 years ago. Dusty Rhodes said it was fine, but only if he became the best. Cody says winning the World Title means he's the best. TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Edwards interrupts. Edwards puts over the fans, Cody and TNA, but asks if Cody truly knows who he is. Cody says Edwards will learn tonight who he is when he wins his title. Edwards says he's beating Cody tonight to silence those that said he luckily beat Bobby Lashley. Lashley arrives and says he'll just destroy both Cody and Edwards because he's a real fighter. Moose arrives next and is ready for his #1 contenders match with Lashley.
-- "#1 Contenders Match": Bobby Lashley vs. Moose: The match closes out with Lashley getting a near fall spear on Moose. Moose counters a second spear and gets a near fall Game Breaker on Lashley. Moose goes for Go To Hell, but gets knocked off the ropes by Lashley. Lashley hits a Super Spear on Moose off the top rope and scores the pinfall, to become the #1 contender.
-- The Tribunal explains that they jumped The Hardy's last week to get TNA President Billy Corgan's attention and impress him. The video feed suddenly cuts out and we see another video play showing The DCC masked men sitting at a table. The DCC state that no one is safe and chaos will arrive in the Impact Zone tonight.
- Eli Drake's Fact Of Life: Drake's guest is TNA Grand Champion Aron Rex. Drake says he didn't like Rex at first, but now likes how he gets things done. Rex brags about injuring Drew Galloway and beating Eddie Edwards. Drake brags about his Bound For Gold win and says Ethan Carter is Bound For The Dumpster. Drake continues to mock EC3 until EC3 crashes the show. Security rushes EC3 and holds him back as the segment ends.
-- Ethan Carter Promo: EC3 says he's going to destroy Eli Drake's Fact Of Life set and take a EC2 on his desk. Drake orders Security to arrest EC3. Drake taunts EC3 until EC3 charges and pushes passed Security. Drake and EC3 begin to brawl and Aron Rex catches a punch during the fight. Rex joins Drake and beats down EC3. Jesse Godderez runs out and helps EC3 fight off Drake and Rex until Security finally separates all four men.
-- "TNA World Tag Team Championship Match": Broken Matt Hardy and Brother Nero Jeff Hardy (c) vs. The Tribunal: The match closes out with Matt hitting the Side Effect on Baraka for a near fall. The Tribunal double team Matt and hit a slam to the mat. Jeff comes in and hits the Twist of Fate on Dax. Matt and Jeff both hit Twists of Fate on Baraka leading to Matt covering Baraka and scoring the pinfall to retain the titles. After the match, The three masked DCC members arrive and attack The Tribunal. The DCC leave The Tribunal laid out and then stare down The Hardy's who are standing on the TNA stage. Reby and Jeff looked worried, but Matt laughs.
-- The show is interrupted by another DCC video. The DCC promise more chaos and no one will know when they're coming.
-- Maria Bennett Promo: Maria blames Allie for all of Maria's faults that have happened. Maria yells at Allie, who tries to defend herself. Laurel Van Ness tells Maria not to fire Allie because they need someone to carry their stuff. Maria and Laurel demand an apology from Allie, but Allie says no. Laurel attacks Allie and beats her down. Maria slaps Allie in the head and dares Allie to fight Laurel next week.
-- Mahabali Shera has bought the services of "The Fixer" Tyrus to help Shera become a champion. Tyrus has handpicked an opponent for Shera tonight to prove that he is taking in Tyrus' advice.
-- Mike Bennett vs. Mahabali Shera: The match closes out with Shera getting in some power slams and a bear hug on Bennett. Bennett rakes Shera's eyes and hits Miracle In Progress to score the pinfall.
-- "TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match": Eddie Edwards (c) vs. Cody Rhodes: The match closes out with Cody hitting a Muscle Buster on Edwards for a near fall. Cody goes to apply the American Nightmare submission, but Edwards escapes. Cody and Edwards both begin to trade punches with each other. Cody and Edwards end up on the top rope together and Cody goes for a super plex on Edwards. Cody hits the super plex, however, Edwards hooks Cody into a rollup on the landing and scores the pinfall to retain the championship. After the match, Cody and Edwards shake hands. After Edwards leaves, Maria Bennett hits the ring and sends Brandi Rhodes into the steel steps. Cody checks on Brandi as Maria and Mike Bennett laugh from the TNA stage to end the show.
- Bobby Lashley Bellator Bout: This past Friday, Bobby Lashley battled Josh Appelt at Bellator 162 and came out victorious in the match, after making Appelt tap out to a rear naked choke. Lashley now stands at 15-2 in his MMA career. https://youtu.be/afb5yNfTFnw
- More TNA Money Problems: Sources are saying that TNA currently owes Aroluxe Marketing and The Fight Network totals of $3.4 million. That total is said to not even include what TNA still owes TNA President Billy Corgan and some of the TNA talent. With TNA being several millions of dollars in debt, it will be tough for TNA to sell the company because that someone will not only buy TNA, but also have to take over the debt issues. TNA is covered for the rest of the year, except for the taping at Matt Hardy’s Estate. That taping takes place during the first week of November and it will cost TNA money because they need to pay for production costs and travel for the talent.
- Anthem Statement on Investment in TNA Impact Wrestling: Anthem Sports & Entertainment Corp. (“Anthem”), the parent company of Fight Network, confirmed on Wednesday that they recently made a working capital loan to fund the operations of TNA Impact Wrestling. Fight Network is a licensee of TNA programming for broadcast in the U.S., Canada and other international markets, and is also the exclusive licensee of TNA for streaming Internet-delivered TV. Fight Network also offered to provide TNA Impact Wrestling with funding to repay the loans made by TNA President Billy Corgan and is positioned to provide additional transitional assistance to the company.
CEO of Anthem, Leonard Asper stated the following:
“TNA is a strong property for Fight Network and as a licensee and global distribution partner we have a keen interest in seeing the company not only survive but continue to grow and thrive, alongside our own growth. We are hopeful that the company can soon get back to doing what it does best, which is to produce great wrestling content.”
*** RING OF HONOR *** - ROH TV Recap: This week was the first taped show that took place after ROH All Star Extravaganza a month ago.
-- The Bullet Club cut a promo: The Young Bucks state that they are the greatest tag team of all time after winning the ROH World Tag Team Championship. ROH World Champion Adam Cole states that The Bullet Club are planning to capture the ROH Six Man Tag Team Championship and that Hangman Adam Page will be the next ROH Television Champion.
-- War Machine vs. Keith Lee and Shane Taylor: All four men brawl all over the arena before order is finally restored. The match closes out with Rowe hitting the Destroyer on Lee and scored the pinfall. After the match, Taylor attacks both members of War Machine and lays them out with steel chair shots.
-- "ROH Six Man Tag Team Championship Tournament": Jason Kincaid, Leon St. Giovanni and Shaheem Ali vs. The Cabinet: The match closes out with Caprice Coleman hitting a flying leg drop on St. Giovanni and scores the pinfall. The Cabinet advance in the tournament.
-- Jay Lethal vs. Silas Young: Adam Cole was on commentary for this match. The match closes out with Cole getting up from the table and walking to ringside. Kyle O'Reilly appears and confronts Cole. O'Reilly and Cole begin to brawl around ringside, distracting Young. Young yells at them to stop and then gets rolled up for the pinfall by Lethal. The show closes out with all four men brawling.

- Lucha Underground TV Recap:
-- Vampiro offers his services to Prince Puma in his match against Mil Muertes tonight. Puma says he'd rather die fighting Muertes than ever accept Vampiro's services.

The mystery man then ground and pounds Killshot and then hits a brain buster. The mystery man stands over Killshot and says "You Left Me For Dead".
-- Dario Cueto announces that there has been no real challenge for his brother Matanza Cueto since winning the Lucha Underground Championship. Cueto announces that Matanza will defend his Lucha Underground Championship in a 20 Man Aztec Warfare Match in four weeks. Matanza will also enter the Warfare at #1. Cueto then tells Fenix that he has to face his Trios partners in a triple threat match. The winner enters at #20, the two losers are out of the match.
-- "Triple Threat Match, For Spot #20 In The Aztec Warfare Match": Fenix vs. Drago vs. Aerostar: The match closes out with Fenix taking a hard kick to the face, busting open his nose. All three men are down, slowly rise up and trade punches with each other. All three men hit their finishers, but can't win the match. Fenix applies a leg bar submission on Drago as Aerostar applies a scissors choke on Fenix. Drago takes out Fenix with a hurricanrana into a pile driver. Drago hits a running blockbuster on Aerostar and scores the pinfall.
-- Drago sees a vision of Kobra Moon and she says Drago must win Aztec Warfare for their tribe. Drago yells that he's no longer in their tribe. Moon disappears and a hobo is standing there.
-- Johnny Mundo wants to prove to Dario Cueto that he's the greatest and feels it isn't fair everyone but Mundo is getting title shots. Mundo offers up the $100,000 in a briefcase that Mundo took from Cueto, which now only has $94,373 left. Mundo wants a match against Sexy Star. Cueto accepts the offer and gives Mundo a Gift Of The Gods Championship Match against Sexy Star.
-- Mil Muertes vs. Prince Puma: The match closes out with Muertes getting a near fall on Puma with a twisting choke slam. Puma counters The Flatliner, but gets tossed into the corner. Muertes unloads on Puma, but misses a corner charge. Puma hits the 630 splash on Muertes and scores the pinfall.
-- Rey Mysterio meets with Chavo Guerrero Sr. and says that The Temple isn't big enough for him and Chavo Jr., one of them has to leave. Chavo Sr. appears to agree with what ever Rey has planned to end the show.

- Michael Elgin Surgery: NJPW wrestler Michael Elgin had surgery this past Thursday to repair a fractured orbital bone. Elgin suffered the injury last Sunday at NJPW's King of Pro Wrestling. Elgin is expected to miss NJPW's next event, NJPW Power Struggle, and will be replaced by ROH's Jay Lethal.

-- Darby Allin vs. Anthony Henry: The match closes out with Henry hitting a german suplex, followed by a power bomb, then traps Allin in a Texas Cloverleaf submission. Allin escapes, but gets placed in the tree of woe and kicked repeatedly in his injured arm. Allin some how fights back, plants Henry and then hits the Nestea Plunge off the top rope to score the pinfall.
-- Nathan Cruz vs. Jason Kincaid: The match closes out with Kincaid hitting a slingshot cutter on Cruz for a near fall. Kincaid climbed onto the ring post, leaped off, but missed a double stomp. Kincaid appears to have injured his knee as Cruz attacks it. Cruz hits a Michinoku Driver and then locks in a reverse cloverleaf submission. Kincaid has no choice but to tap out.
-- Fred Yehi vs. DUSTIN: The match closes out with DUSTIN hitting a belly to belly suplex off the top rope on Yehi. DUSTIN and Yehi trade forearms back and forth. Yehi unloads chops and stomps, but gets planted with a toss up power bomb. DUSTIN goes for the Awful Waffle, but Yehi counters, traps DUSTIN in a Koji Clutch submission and makes DUSTIN tap out.
-- Bunk and Funk vs. The Gatekeepers: The match closes out quickly in under two minutes, as The Gatekeepers attack and destroy Bunk and Funk. The Gatekeepers hit a Doomsday Device and score the pinfall.
-- "EVOLVE World Heavyweight Championship Match": Timothy Thatcher (c) vs. Ethan Page: The match closes out with Thatcher countering a package pile driver by Page and the referee goes down. The Gatekeepers hit the ring, but Thatcher tosses them out. Page hits Thatcher with the EVOLVE title, but Thatcher kicks out at two, as a second referee arrives. The second referee goes down as Page tries to choke out Thatcher with a string. Thatcher escapes, traps Page in an arm bar submission and makes Page tap out to retain the title.

-- Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Tracy Williams: The match closes out with Williams escaping a triangle submission and planting Sabre with a power bomb for a near fall. Williams hits a pile driver on Sabre and gets another near fall. Sabre traps Williams in a double arm bar submission and forces Williams to tap out.
-- Chris Hero vs. Drew Gulak: The match closes out with Gulak trapping Hero in a dragon sleeper submission, but Hero reaches the ropes for the break. -- Drew Galloway cuts a promo. Galloway congratulates Hero on the win, blames Matt Riddle for being the reason Galloway has been injured and brings in AR Fox to fight Riddle and teach Riddle a lesson tonight.

Riddle hits a series of knees, a gut wrench suplex and gets a near fall bridging german suplex. Riddle unloads more knees and kicks on Fox. Riddle countered Sliced Bread, but gets dropped by Fox with a cutter. Fox gets a near fall swanton, but misses an attempted 450 splash. Riddle unloads elbows and then traps Fox in the Bromission submission, forcing Fox to tap out. After the match, DUSTIN hits the ring and helps Fox beat down Riddle. Catch Point hits the ring and helps Riddle clear the ring to close the show.

-- "Non-Title Fight To The Finish Match": Timothy Thatcher vs. Drew Gulak: Thatcher and Gulak spent a lot of time brawling throughout the arena. The match closes out with Thatcher and Gulak trading face slaps with each other. Thatcher and Gulak then traded German suplexes with each other. Gulak traps Thatcher in a Dragon Sleeper submission and makes the champ tap out. After the match, Stokley Hathaway tries to get Thatcher to join him again. Thatcher shakes Hathaway's hand and it appears that he accepted the offer.
-- Tracy Williams vs. Jason Kincaid: The match closes out with Williams ground and pounding Kincaid. Williams tosses Kincaid outside and misses an attempted suicide dive. Kincaid gets a near fall with a springboard leg drop on Williams. Williams and Kincaid traded counters with each other until Williams is able to plant Kincaid with a pile driver to score the pinfall.
-- The Gatekeepers vs. Joe Coleman and Eric Locker: The Gatekeepers squashed another team and picked up the easy pinfall.

Page counters back and nails a running boot on Callihan. Page finally hits the package pile driver and scores the pinfall.

Darby Allin hits the ring to try to make the save, but gets tossed to the floor by the Gatekeepers. Page grabs a steel chair and destroys Sabre's arm with chair shots, leaving Sabre injured.
-- Chris Hero vs. Matt Riddle: The match closes out with Hero hitting three rolling elbows on Riddle. Hero missed a fourth and Riddle unloaded on Hero with punches. Hero counters a Tombstone and hits one of his own on Riddle and then follows with a stuff pile driver. Hero goes for the Gotch pile driver, but Gotch counters and locks in a Triangle submission. Hero escapes and gets a near fall pile driver on Riddle. Hero finally hits the rolling elbow to the back of Riddle's head and scores the pinfall.
- Tracy Williams challenges Chris Hero to a match. Hero drops Williams, as Drew Galloway and DUSTIN attack Matt Riddle outside. Galloway praises Hero and DUSTIN for their wins tonight and tells Hero to attack Riddle some more. Hero refuses and leaves. DUSTIN tries to attack Hero, but Drew Gulak and Fred Yehi made the save. Gulak promises that Catch Point will end Drew Galloway and his crew as the show ends.

This week's Weekend 3 Count Wrestler Of The Week goes to the man who made his return to the WWE this past Monday and is a big name in the sport, Goldberg. Goldberg, a former pro football player, got his start in WCW and was trained at the WCW Power Plant. Goldberg became WCW's answer to the WWE's Steve Austin, with both men resembling the same in ring personality. Goldberg went on to win both the WCW United States Championship and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at the same time, while being undefeated in WCW. Goldberg had a short one year run in the WWE before retiring permanently from the wrestling business. Goldberg returned to the WWE this past Monday to set up one last match against Brock Lesnar for WWE Survivor Series in November.

- RAW was live this week in Dallas, Texas and served as the go home show to this Sunday's WWE Hell In A Cell. Some highlights to this weeks show included: The Legends! Hall of Famer's "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and "Nature Boy" Ric Flair were in attendance. The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar had one last face to face before they step inside the Hell In A Cell together on Sunday. The Authority put Corporate Kane on suspension. Main event time saw The Wyatt Family face off with a one time only forced Shield reunion. All that and a lot more, let's get to some RAW recap.
- Stone Cold, Stone Cold, Stone Cold!!!: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin kicks off RAW inside the ring. Austin plugs his podcast with special guest, Brock Lesnar, tonight after RAW and then calls out The Undertaker. Undertaker arrives and says he'll make Brock Lesnar's worst fears look like heaven at Hell In A Cell. Lesnar's music hits and out comes "The Beast" and Paul Heyman, onto the stage. Heyman says it's ironic that both Taker and Lesnar are going into the cell looking for revenge. Taker says that when you take everything from a man, then he now has nothing to lose. Lesnar heads to the ring and hops onto the apron. Heyman is able to talk Lesnar down and Lesnar backs off to end the segment.
- The New Day defeated John Cena and The Dudley Boys, by pinfall, in a Six Man Tag Team Match: The match closes out with Big E landing a sidewalk slam on Cena, fighting off a Cena drop kick and then dropping Cena with a belly to belly. Cena hot tags Devon, after Big E misses a splash. Devon cleans house, until Xavier Woods sneaks in a roll up for the pinfall. After the match, Cena hits an AA on Woods. The Dudley's and Cena finish off Woods with a triple power bomb through a table.
- Michael Cole and the announce team inform us that Randy Orton is MIA and think that The Wyatt Family may have had something to do with it.
- Backstage, Dean Ambrose now needs a new partner with Randy Orton missing, but says he'll go it alone if he has to.
- Nikki Bella and Alicia Fox defeated Naomi and Sasha Banks by pinfall: The match closes out with Nikki Bella going for the Rack Attack on Naomi. Naomi escapes, but gets sent into the corner by Nikki. Nikki finally hits the Rack Attack and scores the pinfall.
- Michael Cole and the announce team inform us that The Authority have suspended Corporate Kane for his actions running RAW last week.
- Shawn Michaels and Seth Rollins Go Face To Face: The "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels is in the ring hyping up Hell In A Cell. Seth Rollins interrupts and says Michaels was sent to the ring to introduce Rollins, complains about Michaels talking about other Hell In A Cell matches besides Rollins' and Rollins considers himself Shawn Michaels 2.0. Michaels says it's funny that people all want to be like Shawn Michaels, cause when Michaels was coming up, he was worried about being the best professional wrestler to ever live and not try to be like someone else. Rollins says he's done talking and goes to leave the ring. Michaels tells Rollins not to go to far cause he has a match with Ryback, right now.
- Seth Rollins defeated Ryback, by pinfall: The match closes out with Rollins hitting a suicide dive that sends Ryback into the announcers table. Ryback regains offense, hits a back body drop and a tilt-a-whirl slam on Rollins. Ryback has Rollins by the hair, however, Rollins lands a solid boot to Ryback's gut. Rollins hits the Pedigree on Ryback, covers and scores the pinfall.
- Rusev, King Barrett and Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro and Neville, by pinfall, in a Six Man Tag Team Match: The match closes out with Ziggler getting a near fall Fameasser, then misses a super kick, as Barrett blocks it. Ziggler reverses Winds of Change into a crucifix pin for another near fall on Barrett. Ziggler lands a super kick and Cesaro boots Sheamus. Rusev thrust kicks Cesaro, but gets tossed to the floor by Ziggler. Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick out of nowhere on Ziggler, allowing Barrett to score the pinfall.
- The Nature Boy, Roman Reigns and The Wyatts: Ric Flair is in the ring for a promo. Flair hypes up Wrestlemania 32, which takes place in Dallas, Texas. Flair next announces that Roman Reigns will team with Dean Ambrose, tonight, against the Wyatt Family, sincsyiye Randy Orton is still MIA. Roman Reigns arrives and is ready to go. Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman suddenly arrive with a returning Eric Rowan, making them four now. Reigns sets up two chairs in the ring, one for him and one for Bray Wyatt to sit in to talk things out. Reigns says Bray is a bully, picks on people when they're down, is scared, can't go it alone and surrounds himself with the other Wyatts. Reigns says he's ending this at Hell In A Cell and Bray should be afraid. Reigns shoves and lands a punch on Bray, then lands chair shots on Rowan and Strowman. Dean Ambrose hits the ring and helps Reigns fight off the Wyatt Family.
- Backstage, Seth Rollins criticizes to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon on what Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose just did. Shawn Michaels stops by and suggests Rollins teaming with Reigns and Ambrose against The Wyatt Family, tonight. Triple H is hesitant, but Michaels says Rollins is treated like a baby. Rollins agrees to the match and says he's going to be Mr. Show Stopper.
- Charlotte defeated Brie Bella, by submission: The match closes out with Brie landing kicks to the chest of Charlotte. Charlotte grabs Brie's leg, lands chops, clotheslines, a forearm, a corner splash, a neck breaker and spear. Charlotte applies the Figure Eight and Brie taps out. After the match, Paige is watching backstage on the monitor.
- Backstage, Paige denies attacking Nattie Neidhart and claims it could have been anyone that hates the Divas Revolution. Maybe it was Lita, or Alundra Blayze.
- Kevin Owens defeated Mark Henry, by pinfall: The match closes out with Henry landing an irish whip and a kick to Owens' ribs. Henry hits a big splash in the corner and looks to put Owens away. Owens, however, lands a super kick and the pop up power bomb, covers and scores the pinfall. After the match, Ryback hits the ring, but Owens escapes to the floor. Henry grabs Owens and sends Owens back into the ring. Ryback grabs Owens and plants him with a power bomb.
- Backstage, Seth Rollins says tonight is not a Shield reunion, he's just proving that he's the man and if need be he'll take out Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose both.
- The Wyatt Family defeated The Shield, by DQ, in a Six Man Tag Team Match: The match closes out with Reigns tagging in and landing a Superman Punch on Strowman. Reigns with a kick and clothesline to Rowan. Reigns hits the leaping apron drop kick on Rowan. Reigns sends Strowman into the announcers table. Reigns hits a samoan drop and a Superman Punch on Rowan. Ambrose gets dumped to the floor as Strowman applies the Bear Hug/Sleeper combo submission on Reigns. Ambrose grabs a kendo stick and cracks Strowman with it, causing the DQ. After the match, Reigns and Ambrose brawl with The Wyatt Family. Reigns hits a spear on Bray and Rowan to close out this weeks RAW.

No more football for all those Cowboys down the street in Jerry's World, so wrestling is gonna have to do for ya. The go home show to the Royal Rumble is here and it's a special RAW. How special? It's so special that even the WWE Legends of the past came out tonight to watch. That's right it's the RAW Legends Reunion Show. Many Legends of the past have been advertised but will we see any other surprises? Find out in the RAW recap below.
- RAW kicks off with a Martin Luther King Tribute video.
- In Ring Segment with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman: Lesnar cuts Heyman off and actually speaks tonight. Lesnar says he wants Seth Rollins' ass, because Lesnar is here to fight. Lesnar gives Rollins 10 seconds to get to the ring, but Rollins no shows. Triple H's music hits and out comes "The Game". Triple H tries to calm down Lesnar, but states that Lesnar did start the fight last week with a german suplex. Heyman tries to calm down Lesnar as Lesnar wants Triple H now. Stephanie McMahon, Big Show and Kane are out next. Stephanie says they're not trying to make Lesnar feel defensive, but cooler heads need to prevail. Seth Rollins appears on the TitanTron next. Rollins tells Lesnar he's always two steps ahead of Lesnar and tells Lesnar to relax, cause he'll get his shot, right before Rollins takes his title. Heyman tells The Authority to get their boy, Rollins, on a leash before Lesnar leaves bodies laying. John Cena's music hits and out comes Mr. Hustle, Loyalty and Respect. Cena says they'll settle this on Sunday and has a message for The Authority. Everything The Authority does to Cena, lights a fire under him and he will take that fire to Royal Rumble and win the title. Stephanie and Rollins make fun of Cena, blame him for Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback getting fired, tell him the fans don't want to see him win at the Rumble and call Cena a failure. Triple H closes the segment out by announcing that in Cena's match tonight he must win in order to stay in the rumble and allow Ziggler, Rowan and Ryback to come back. Before Cena can agree or disagree to the idea, Triple H announces the WWE Universe will vote on the WWE app and make the decision for him.
- Bray Wyatt vs. Daniel Bryan: DB's first match back on RAW. DB unloads with kicks in the corner. Wyatt takes control with a right hand and stomps. DB hits a drop kick through the ropes and flies off the top rope and to the floor on Wyatt. Kane arrives and watches at ringside. DB gets hit with a head butt and sent back to the floor. Wyatt tosses DB into the barricade, then the apron. Wyatt continues to take control of the match with a clothesline, head locks and working on DB's repaired neck. DB finally makes the comeback, hitting a drop kick in the corner, then unleashing more kicks. DB with a hurricanrana for a near fall. DB hits a suicide dive to the floor on Wyatt. The referee gets distracted, allowing Kane to pull DB off the apron. Bryan gets thrown back in the ring where Wyatt awaits. Wyatt throws DB into the turn buckle, head first, then hits "Sister Abigail" for the pinfall. After the match, Kane is applauding DB's loss. Kane lays DB out with a choke slam, then unloads on DB with mounted punches until finally letting up.
- Backstage, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Shawn Michaels and Triple H (The Kliq) are together again. Triple H is made fun of for wearing a suit now. Damien Sandow appears dressed as Sean "X-Pac" Waltman. The real Sean Waltman appears and Sandow stunt doubles him. The Miz appears and yells at Sandow to go change. Nash asks Triple H what kind of a show does he run here.
- In Ring Royal Rumble Legends Panel with Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels: All three give their opinion on John Cena's voting tonight and talk about the Rumble's that they have all won in the past. HBK predicts Bray Wyatt will win, Hogan predicts Daniel Bryan will win and Flair predicts Dean Ambrose will win. Big Show's music hits and out comes the giant. Show says the legends are jealous of Show and reminds Hogan about the time he beat him for the WCW World Title and chased Flair out of WCW. Show calls them all washed up has beens that beg for the fans attention. Show predicts he'll win the Rumble. Show threatens the legends and Flair stands up. Flair hits chops and punches on Show until getting hit with the Show knockout punch. Hogan and HBK check on Flair as Roman Reigns comes to the ring. Show tells Reigns to back off, but Reigns unloads on Show with punches. Reigns counters the choke slam and dodges the knockout punch before sending Show over the ropes. Show escapes up the ramp to end the segment.
- Backstage, John Cena finds out his title match and Ziggler, Rowan and Ryback's jobs will be on the line tonight. The WWE Universe voted yes at 65%.
- Dean Ambrose vs. Bad News Barrett: Ambrose and Barrett go back and forth early. Ambrose misses a clothesline, eats a kick and a running boot from Barrett. Barrett stays in control and scores a near fall with a knee to Ambrose's gut. Ambrose hits a bulldog and lands chops on Barrett. Barrett near fall rollup after countering an Ambrose corner charge. Ambrose hits a clothesline but gets crotched on the ropes by Barrett. Ambrose counters the "Bullhammer" then counters the "Wasteland" and hits "Dirty Deeds" on Barrett. Ambrose covers and scores the pinfall.
- Hey look it's the Dallas Cowboys at ringside.
- Big E and Kofi Kingston vs. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro: Xavier Woods announces he has an ankle injury. Kidd hits a drop kick on Big E. Kofi is in next and takes control of Kidd. Adam Rose runs distraction on the apron, allowing Cesaro to tag in. Cesaro goes to work on Kofi. Cesaro and Kidd with a double team move for a near fall. Cesaro knocks Big E off the apron and "Cesaro Swings" Kofi. Kidd and Cesaro hit a double team move during the swing for a near fall. Kofi fights back on Cesaro with corner kicks and scores a rollup pinfall out of nowhere on Cesaro.
- In Ring nWo Reunion: Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman are in the ring. Hall with the "hey yo" and the survey. Nash talks about the Monday Night Wars. The Ascension interrupt and make their way to the ring. The Ascension call the nWo three old dogs begging to be put out of misery. Claim that no team past, present or future is better than they are, especially one from WCW. Hall flips his toothpick in Konnar's face and we have a stand off. JBL stands up at the commentators table and rips The Ascension for coming out here in front of legends.
JBL reveals an APA shirt and out comes his former APA partner Ron (DAMN!) Simmons. Next out is the New Age Outlaws, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg. The Ascension are surrounded by Legends and have nowhere to run. Gunn and Dogg beat Konnar and Viktor into the corners. Konnar gets knocked to the floor and Viktor gets his head taken off by the "Clothesline From Hell" by JBL.
- Backstage, we find out John Cena will face Seth Rollins, Big Show and Kane. Cena has to win to keep his title shot at Rumble and get Ziggler, Rowan and Ryback their jobs back.
- Paige and Nattie Neidhart vs. Summer Rae and Alicia Fox: Summer spin kicks Nattie and Fox hits her in the corner. Fox with a northern lights suplex for a near fall. Paige is in finally and hits a clothesline and a drop kick. Nattie tosses Summer out to the floor. Page kicks Fox in the face and than applies the PTO submission. Fox ends up tapping out to end the match.
- Rusev vs. R-Truth: Before the match begins, Truth tells Rusev that every American in the Rumble is coming after him. Truth gets some offense in early, but Rusev hits the thrust kick then applies "The Accolade" on Truth for the submission victory.
- Backstage, Lesnar tells Rollins he is not going to hurt him tonight. He hopes that Rollins takes Cena out and then Lesnar will take Rollins out on Sunday.
- The Miz vs. Jey Uso: Both guys will be in tag team action against each other, this Sunday at the Royal Rumble, with the WWE World Tag Team Championship on the line. Jey blocks the "Skull Crushing Finale" and Miz gets sent into the ring post. Jey goes to the top rope and hits the "Superfly Splash" for the pinfall.
- John Cena vs. Seth Rollins, Big Show and Kane: Triple H and Stephanie are ringside. Rollins hits a couple stomps in the corner on Cena, but Cena counters with a bulldog. Show with a backsplash in the corner on Cena. Cena tries to body slam Show, but can't hold him, as Show falls on Cena for a near fall. Rollins is in next, gets a near fall, then locks Cena in a sleeper hold. Show is tagged back in and goes to the second rope. Show misses the second rope splash, as Cena rolls out of the way. Super Cena emerges and hits the "Five Knuckle Shuffle" on Rollins and then goes for "AA". Mercury and Noble distract Cena but Cena ends up hitting the "AA" on a second attempt. Cena gets the near fall on Rollins, as Kane pulls Cena out of the ring. Show spears Cena on the floor and Cena barely makes it back in the ring at a 9 count.
Kane drops Cena with a chokeslam for a near fall. Rollins is in the ring and is setting Cena up for the "Curb Stomp" when suddenly............Sting appears on the titantron. The lights are out and when they come back on, Sting is on the ramp pointing at Triple H. Cena uses Sting's distraction to roll Rollins up for the pinfall.
After the match, Triple H is livid as Rowan, Ziggler and Ryback now have their jobs back. Triple H yells for Sting to come out and he doesn't belong here. HERE COMES THE PAIN! Brock Lesnar hits the ring instead and lays out Rollins. Lesnar then lays Kane and Show out with "F5's" as Rollins escapes to end RAW.
