WWE Elimination Chamber Preview

By Brandon Albright, @B_Rock1978

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE, brings you the WWE Elimination Chamber preview. This Sunday's event will be live at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. This will mark the Elimination Chambers 15th year of existence, as the match made its debut back in 2002.

- "WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Elimination Chamber Match": John Cena (c) vs. AJ Styles vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Baron Corbin vs. Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz: Last month at the WWE Royal Rumble, John Cena defeated AJ Styles to become a 16 World Champion. Next up on the road to Wrestlemania 33, Cena steps inside the Elimination Chamber and must defend the title inside the massive steel structure. AJ Styles looks to win back his title that he lost to Cena at the Royal Rumble and renews his past feud with Dean Ambrose. Dean Ambrose must contend with three past opponents of his own in Cena, Styles and the man he defeated for the WWE Intercontinental Championship The Miz. The sadistic Bray Wyatt enters the chamber, renewing his feud with Cena and Ambrose. The Miz, who's been the hottest heel on Smackdown Live looks to get revenge on Ambrose and become a two time world champion. Finally the young up and comer, Baron Corbin, looks to win his first WWE championship in the company.

- "WWE Smackdown Live World Tag Team Championship, Turmoil Match": American Alpha (c) vs. The Usos vs. Heath Slater and Rhyno vs. Fandango and Tyler Breeze vs. The Ascension vs. The Vaudevillains: Last month on Smackdown Live, American Alpha defeated Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton to win the WWE Smackdown Live World Tag Team Championship. Last week, the champs threw out an open invitation to any tag team in the locker room to face them for the titles. Five other tag teams emerged from the dressing room and a huge 12 man brawl broke out. After the brawl ended it was announced that American Alpha would put up their titles in a Tag Team Turmoil Match. Two teams start and once one of them is eliminated the next team comes out to fight.

- "WWE Smackdown Live Women's Championship Match": Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Naomi: Alexa Bliss is still living the high life as the champion after defeating Becky Lynch at TLC to win the title. Alexa would then go on to defeat Becky again in a rematch as Mickie James arrived to help Alexa retain. Naomi meanwhile arrived to Smackdown Live and immediately made an impact, as she scored two straight pinfalls over Alexa and earned herself a title match at WWE Elimination Chamber. Alexa has taken Naomi very lightly and is expecting to retain her title. Naomi, meanwhile, is looking at winning the title and going on to Wrestlemania 33 as the champion in her home town.

- Randy Orton vs. Luke Harper: The Wyatt Family have been in a battle with each other internally for the past month. Harper has stated to Bray Wyatt that he didn't trust Randy Orton and felt Orton was only using Bray. Orton, however, continued to show his loyalty to Bray, helping him weekly in his matches. The Wyatt Family imploded with Harper attacking Orton and Harper getting laid out by Bray and Orton. The Wyatt Family would again fight with each other at the WWE Royal Rumble which saw Randy Orton come out victorious. Harper has dropped out of The Wyatt Family for the time being and has promised to prove to Bray that Orton is really a snake in the grass waiting to take Bray out.

- "Handicap Match": Dolph Ziggler vs. Apollo Crews and Kalisto: Heel Ziggler returned last month as Ziggler viciously attacked Kalisto and stated he didn't need anyone's help in his battles. Ziggler began to target Kalisto weekly until up and comer Apollo Crews made the save for Kalisto. Ziggler began to target Crews next for sticking up for Kalisto. Crews would go on to score a surprise victory on Ziggler, but then got attacked with a steel chair by Ziggler after the match. Kalisto tried to make the save, but he also suffered a steel chair beat down. Ziggler very happy with what he did, stated that he could beat both Crews and Kalisto any day of the week. Daniel Bryan immediately made the Handicap Match for WWE Elimination Chamber.

- Nikki Bella vs. Nattie Neidhart: The feud that began at WWE Survivor Series with Nattie Neidhart secretly attacking Nikki Bella backstage will finally come to a head at WWE Elimination Chamber. Nattie has stated that she can't stand Nikki Bella and the spotlight that she's always in and feels that the spotlight was stolen away from her. Nattie has called herself the best in the business, even belittling her own Uncle Bret Hart for tweeting on Twitter his support for Nikki Bella. Nattie has even made the feud personal as Nattie has mocked Nikki and her relationship with WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena and said that Nikki has been getting special favors from her brother in law, Smackdown Live GM Daniel Bryan. Nikki looks to finally get her hands on Nattie at WWE Elimination Chamber and shut the self proclaimed best in the women's division up once and for all.

- Becky Lynch vs. Mickie James: Mickie James returned to the WWE last month when she helped Alexa Bliss retain her WWE Smackdown Live Women's Championship against Becky Lynch. Mickie stated that she was sick of hearing about the women's division and the women's revolution because she helped pave the way to it and no one ever gave her thanks. Becky demanded a match with Mickie James at WWE Elimination Chamber for revenge and so she can finally put Mickie in her place.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon Presents.... Wrestling Q&A 2/9/17

By Brandon Albright, @B_Rock1978

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon brought to you by Triple Threat CLE brings you Wrestling Q&A.

Wrestling Q&A is my way of getting into social media, whether Facebook, Twitter, or any other means of communication to hear other fans' wrestling ideas on how they would book a match or an angle. I am currently apart of a few different wrestling groups on Facebook where we talk about nothing but wrestling and of course I am vocal on Twitter. My idea basically is to fire a question into the groups on Facebook or onto Twitter and sit back and read what other fans would do and of course with this article that you're reading I will share hopefully some interesting and I'm sure off the wall answers, but that's what makes social media great! So let's get to this week's question.

** Question Of The Week **

"What was your favorite Elimination Chamber moment?"

** Answers **

- The first ever elimination chamber match. One of the few times Shawn Michaels' hair was short lol

- The ECW Elimination Chamber Match. I wish they had more elimination chamber matches where they enter with weapons.

- The 2002 and 2003 Elimination Chamber matches.

- The night John Cena retained the WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber only to lose the Championship to The Rated R Superstar EDGE!

- When Santino almost won the title.

- HBK returning and winning the title in the chamber.

- Edge winning the 2011 Chamber match.

- When hbk attacked the undertaker.

- Taker reverse choke slam on MVP off the chamber pod it was brutal.

- The 1st one, with HBK winning the WHC.

- Being there for the first one and watching my two favorites Jericho and triple h team up in it for a bit. Also the ending sequence to the smackdown one 2009 triple h vs taker

- Evolution destroying GOLDBERG!!!!

- Taker and Batista flipping over the ropes into a Taker tombstone.

- Goldberg killing everyone.

- Goldberg slipping on his entrance.

- Edge taking Kofi's spot in the second chamber match and winning the world championship after losing the wwe title earlier in the night.

- Goldberg spearing & jackhammer slamming everyone with a heartbeat in summerslam 2003

- John Morrison doing his Spider-Man impersonation.

** My Top 3 Favorite Moments **

1.) Shawn Michaels wins the World Heavyweight Championship in the debut Elimination Chamber Match: What a moment it was for Shawn Michaels back in 2002. After being retired for 4 years due to a back injury, Michaels made his return to the WWE at 100%. Michaels lasted to the very end of the Chamber match with his real life best friend Triple H, countered the Pedigree and scored Sweet Chin Music to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Michaels would go on to entertain us for 7 more years until finally being able to retire on his own terms.

2.) Shawn Michaels again makes my list at number two, but this time it was what he did during the match that he wasn't even in. The final two superstars came down to Chris Jericho and The Undertaker with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line. Just as it looked like Taker was about to retain his title, Shawn Michaels popped out one of the outside steel grates and climbed into the chamber from below. Michaels would go on to hit Sweet Chin Music on Taker and help Chris Jericho score the pinfall to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Michaels did it because Taker refused to give him a match at Wrestlemania of that year. After costing Undertaker the title, Michaels got his match.

3. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan both survive their 2012 EC matches and go on to Wrestlemania 28: It's hard to believe that at one time in the WWE, two independent wrestling icons Daniel Bryan and CM Punk both held the top two titles in the company, the WWE World Title and the World Heavyweight Championship. Another favorite moment of mine was when both Bryan and Punk were forced to defend their titles in Elimination Chamber Matches. Both men entered the chamber and both men walked out still holding their world titles.

- Honorable Mentions #1: Edge losing the WWE World Title in the first Elimination Chamber Match of the night and then attack Kofi Kingston, enter the second Elimination Chamber Match in Kofi's spot and winning the World Heavyweight Championship.

- Honorable Mentions #2: Edge cashing in Money In The Bank on John Cena after Cena survived the Elimination Chamber.

That wraps up my Wrestling Q&A session. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading.

The original referee is back up and calls for a Rollins DQ, due to him shoving the referee into Ambrose. The title doesn't change hands on a DQ so Rollins is still the champion.

- After the match, Ambrose refuses to give back the WWE Title. The Authority beat Ambrose down until Roman Reigns hits the ring. Reigns hits a "Superman Punch" on Rollins, Mercury and Noble and then spears Kane. #WWE #EliminationChamber 2015 Preview

By @B_Rock1978

Elimination Chamber 2015 comes to you live from Corpus Christi, Texas. This year's Elimination Chamber we'll see all the titles on the line. The Intercontinental Championship and Tag Team Championship will be defended inside the career ending Elimination Chamber itself. Let's take a look at this year's match card.

- "WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match": Seth Rollins (c) vs. Dean Ambrose: Seth Rollins successfully retained his WWE World Heavyweight Championship last month at Payback, in a Fatal 4 Way Match. Dean Ambrose was one of the four men included in that match and came up short on a victory. Dean Ambrose demanded a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match with Rollins, because he still had a pinfall win over Rollins and felt he deserved to be number one contender. Rollins felt Ambrose was unworthy and refused to give Ambrose a shot at the title. Ambrose took matters into his own hands, attacked Rollins and threatened to bash Rollins skull in with a steel chair on cinder blocks. Stephanie McMahon put a stop to Ambrose ending Rollins' career and granted him his title shot tonight. Will the Seth Rollins Era continue? Seth Rollins says he's the future, will he prove it? Can Dean Ambrose, the WWE's resident "Lunatic", put a stop to The Authority's golden boy and become the NEW WWE World Heavyweight Champion?

- "WWE United States Championship Match": John Cena (c) vs. Kevin Owens: John Cena successfully retained his WWE United States Championship in his final match with Rusev at Payback. Cena came out the next night on RAW and prepared to have his weekly U.S. Title Open Challenge, however, Kevin Owens interrupted Cena. Owens stated how he felt about Cena and planned to injure Cena like he did to Sami Zayn. Owens laid out Cena with a pop up power bomb and the match was made official by Triple H. Can John Cena retain the WWE United States Championship against a man hell bent on injuring Cena permanently? Will Kevin Owens succeed on his promise of taking out John Cena and winning the WWE United States Championship? Kevin Owens looks to be only the second superstar to hold both an NXT Title and a WWE Title at the same time. Paige being the first, who held both the NXT Women's Title and WWE Divas Title at the same time.

- "WWE Intercontinental Championship, Elimination Chamber Match": Sheamus vs. R-Truth vs. King Barrett vs. Rusev vs. Ryback vs. Dolph Ziggler: The WWE Intercontinental Championship is currently vacant as former champion, Daniel Bryan, had to vacate the title due to injury. Dolph Ziggler and King Barrett look to be the major favorites to win the title, as both men have held the title the most times. Sheamus demanded the title be handed to him for being the reason behind Bryan's injury. Unfortunately for Sheamus he has to earn it the old fashion way...winning it. R-Truth and Ryback both  look to become first time Intercontinental champions. Rusev looks to become a first time Intercontinental champion after having a solid run in late 2014/early 2015 with the WWE United States Championship. All six men will step inside the dangerous Elimination Chamber and battle it out until there's only one man left standing. Which one of these six will be the last man standing and walk out the NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion?

- "WWE World Tag Team Championship, Elimination Chamber Match": The New Day (c) vs. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro vs. The Lucha Dragons vs. Los Matadores vs. The Ascension vs. Prime Time Players: The New Day successfully retained their WWE World Tag Team Championship, last month at Payback, defeating Kidd and Cesaro in a two out of three falls match. Kidd and Cesaro are still on a mission to win back the tag titles that they lost to The New Day. The Lucha Dragons made a name for themselves in NXT, winning the NXT World Tag Team Championship, at one time. The Dragons look to add WWE gold to that list. The Ascension are also former NXT World Tag Team Champions, looking to finally dominate the WWE tag team division. Los Matadores and the Prime Time Players are the veterens of this match, who've been teamed up together the longest. Both teams look to finally become first time WWE World Tag Team Champions. For the first time ever, the WWE World Tag Team Championship will be on the line inside the dangerous Elimination Chamber. Which team will be the last team standing and leave the WWE World Tag Team Champions?

- "WWE Divas Championship, Triple Threat Match": Nikki Bella (c) vs. Naomi vs. Paige: Nikki Bella continues to be on a roll in the Divas Division, when it comes to defending her championship. Naomi came into the title picture a month ago when she took out Paige and stole her title match at Extreme Rules. Paige, who never got her rightful title shot she deserved, returned and sent a message to both Nikki and Naomi. Can Nikki successfully retain her WWE Divas Championship and continue to reign over the Divas Division? Will Naomi, who has Tamina Snuka in her corner, a new bad attitude and claims that she deserves the title, come out victorious? How about Paige? Paige returns with vengeance on her mind for Naomi and Nikki's championship in her sights.
