WWE Royal Rumble 2015 Results #RoyalRumble

It's time to begin the journey down the road to Wrestlemania! First stop, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the Royal Rumble. Tonight we find out who will be main eventing Wrestlemania 31 and getting their Wrestlemania moment. Let's jump right into last night's recap.

*** Preshow ***

** The New Day vs. Adam Rose, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro was originally supposed to be a six man elimination match, however, it was changed to a regular tag team match. **

- Kofi Kingston and Big E. (w/Xavier Woods) vs. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro (w/Adam Rose): Big E takes control with a back drop and a couple back breakers for a near fall. Kofi is in and near falls Kidd with an elevated drop kick. Kofi gets a near fall with a forearm off the ropes on Cesaro. Kidd and Cesaro tag in and out and go to work on Kofi with kicks, chokes and a slam by Cesaro for a near fall. Kofi sunset flip on Cesaro for a near fall. Cesaro with the "Cesaro Swing" on Kofi and Kidd follows with a drop kick for a near fall. Cesaro holds Kofi, allowing Kidd to plant another drop kick for a near fall. Kofi hits a drop kick and finally hot tags Big E. Big E hits clotheslines and a belly to belly before Cesaro hits a big boot. Big E takes control and tosses Kofi over the ropes onto Kidd. Big E hits a spear through the ropes, sending Cesaro to the floor. Cesaro counters Big E's "Big Ending" with a european uppercut.

Cesaro takes out Big E and Kofi next with another european uppercut. Cesaro superplex and an elbow by Kidd for a near fall on Kofi. Kofi counters Kidd's "Sharpshooter" and kicks Kidd to the floor. Xavier Woods gets involved and hits Cesaro on the floor, causing Kidd to get distracted and rolled up by Kofi for a near fall. Kidd locks in the "Sharpshooter" on Kofi, but Big E breaks it up. Cesaro hits Big E, Kofi sends Kidd to the floor then hits "Trouble in Paradise" on Adam Rose. Kofi rolls up Kidd but Cesaro lands a european uppercut on Kofi. Kidd plants Kofi with the fisherman's neck breaker and scores the pinfall.

*** Royal Rumble ***

- New Age Outlaws vs. The Ascension: Billy Gunn and Road Dogg take control early with head locks, arm drags, hip tosses and arm bars on Viktor. Road Dogg next lands punches and a knee drop on Konnar for a near fall. Konnar unloads shoulders in the corner on Road Dogg and gets warned by the referee. Konnar and Viktor work on Road Dogg with a splash, a hip toss, a reverse chin lock and a fist drop. Konnar near fall on Road Dogg with a kick. Road Dogg counters a belly to belly with a cross body on Konnar and finally hot tags Billy Gunn. Gunn punches Viktor, hits the tilt-a-whirl slam and goes for the "Famasser". Viktor dodges, tags Konnar then they hit the "Fall of Man" on Gunn and score the pinfall.

- Backstage, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon say they'll destroy Sting if he even thinks about showing his face again in the House of McMahon. Paul Heyman arrives and offers Brock Lesnar's services to take care of Sting for them.

- "WWE World Tag Team Championship Match": The Usos (c) vs. The Miz and Damien Sandow: Jimmy flies off the ropes on Miz for an early near fall. Miz hits the running corner clothesline on Jimmy. Miz and Jimmy counter each other as they climb the turnbuckles. Miz finally takes control with stomps and teases a tag to Sandow but refuses to do it, angering the crowd. Jimmy misses a samoan drop and Miz lands a back breaker for a near fall. Miz teases another Sandow tag but again doesn't do it. Jimmy unloads on Miz with a kick, a samoan drop and a Rikishi corner splash. Miz DDT on Jimmy for a two count. Jimmy counters the figure four by Miz. Miz ends up on the floor, where he pulls Sandow in a flying Usos path. Uso number two flies and takes everyone out. Jey misses a splash and Miz hits the "Skull Crushing Finale", but Jey kicks out at two. Jey hits Miz with the super kick and then the "Superfly Splash" but Sandow breaks up the pinfall. Sandow hits the "Skull Crushing Finale" on Jey. Miz crawls over and covers Jey, but Jey kicks out at two. Miz goes for the superplex off the top rope but gets head butted by Jey. Sandow gets kicked off the apron, trying to help Miz. Jimmy tags in and plants a super kick on Miz which allows Jey to hit a power bomb on Miz. Jimmy climbs the ropes and hits the "Superfly Splash" on Miz. Jimmy covers Miz and scores the pinfall. The Usos retain the WWE World Tag Team Championship.

- Backstage, Seth Rollins yells at Mercury and Noble for playing the new WWE Immortals game on their tablet instead of focusing on tonight.

- The Bella Twins vs. Paige and Nattie Neidhart: The Bellas double team Nattie early. Paige and Nattie double suplex Brie for a near fall. Paige and Nattie tag back and forth, working on Brie. Brie finally drops Nattie on her head and tags in Nikki. Nikki works on Nattie with mat wrestling and gets a near fall. Nikki hits a shoulder on Nattie for a near fall. Brie and Nikki double team Nattie for another near fall. Brie running knee on Nattie for a near fall. Nattie lifts Nikki up on her shoulders and slams her, then counters a Nikki submission with a "Sharpshooter" attempt. Nikki counters it by kicking Nattie off her. Nikki clotheslines Nattie after Nattie lands a blow on Brie. Nikki misses a corner charge on Nattie. Nattie goes for the tag, but Brie knocks Paige off the apron. Nikki hits Nattie with a forearm in the head and scores the pinfall.

- "WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Triple Threat Match": Brock Lesnar (c) vs. John Cena vs. Seth Rollins: Lesnar, two german suplexes on Cena, a german suplex on Rollins and a double german suplex on Mercury and Noble. Lesnar blocks a Cena "AA". Another german suplex on both Cena and Rollins. Lesnar tosses Cena and more germans to Rollins. Lesnar locks Cena in the "Kimura Lock" submission. Cena powers out and Rollins hits a knee on both. Cena and Rollins double suplex Lesnar. Cena "AA" on Lesnar and Rollins gets a one count. Out to the floor, Rollins sends Lesnar into the ring post. Rollins blocks Cena's "Five Knuckle Shuffle" but Cena counters the block. Cena another "Five Knuckle Shuffle" attempt but Lesnar drops Cena with another german suplex. Lesnar goes for another german but Rollins kicks Lesnar.

Cena and Rollins both near fall each other. Cena hits three clotheslines on Lesnar, finally dropping the beast. Lesnar catches Rollins in mid air and "F-5's" Rollins. Cena breaks up the pin attempt and gets another german suplex from Lesnar. Cena hits three straight "AA's" on Lesnar but Rollins stops the pinfall. Rollins tosses Cena into the steel steps then "Curb Stomps" Lesnar for a two count. Cena spear tackles Lesnar right through the barricade. Next, Cena sends Lesnar into the steel steps, then hits Lesnar with the steps in the head. Lesnar is laid out on the announcers table as Rollins flies off the top rope and drives an elbow into the heart of Lesnar, putting both men through the table. WWE Medical rush to the ring and check on Lesnar, who isn't moving, as Cena and Rollins continue the match. Rollins, two near falls with a rollup and a kick on Cena. Rollins blocks an "AA". Cena power bombs Rollins for a near fall. Rollins turn buckle power bomb on Cena for a near fall. Cena counters the "Curb Stomp" with the "STF". Mercury and Noble attack Cena, breaking the submission.

Rollins and The Stooges triple power bomb Cena, but Cena kicks out at two. Cena dumps Rollins to the floor and double "AA's" The Stooges. Rollins gets an "AA" next, but kicks out at two. Rollins blocks two more "AA" attempts, hits an enziguri and a "Curb Stomp" on Cena but Cena kicks out at 2. Rollins hits an awesome 450 splash on Cena off the top rope, but Lesnar is back in and german suplexes Rollins after the landing. Lesnar hits a german suplex on Cena. Rollins hits Lesnar with his briefcase twice then goes for the "Curb Stomp". Lesnar catches Rollins and plants him with the "F-5". Lesnar covers Rollins and scores the pinfall to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

- The Miz and R-Truth are #1 and #2.
- Bubba Ray Dudley returns as #3.
- Dudley and Truth do the "What's Up" head butt and the "3D" on Miz.
- Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper re-align and double team Bubba.

- Erick Rowan (who's banned) attacks Curtis Axel and enters the rumble. All three members of the Wyatts are in the ring. Harper and Bray double team Rowan.
- Bray eliminates both Harper and Rowan.
- Bray talks on the mic, taunting the locker room, sings "Whole World In His Hands and goes on to eliminate The Boogeyman, hits "Sister Abigail" on Sin Cara, eliminates Cara and eliminates Zack Ryder.
- The fans go crazy as Daniel Bryan enters at #10.
- Later in the match, Bryan hits a suicide dive through the ropes on Bray.
- Diamond Dallas Page makes a surprise entrance at #14.
- DDP hits a "Diamond Cutter" on Stardust, a "Super Diamond Cutter" on Fandango, a "Diamond Cutter" on Bray and finishes with his trademark "Bang".
- Rusev blocks a DDP "Diamond Cutter" and eliminates DDP and Fandango.

- Bryan gets knocked on the apron, then sent to the floor by Bray, eliminating Bryan. This moment right here is when the rumble ended for the whole arena, as heavy and loud "Boos" broke out.
- Stardust tries to eliminate his brother Goldust but fails. "Daniel Bryan" chants break out.
- Adam Rose comes out and his Rosebuds catch an airbourne Kofi Kingston and crowd surf him back to the ring, avoiding elimination.
- Roman Reigns arrives at #19 and gets heavy boos.
- Reigns clotheslines the Rhodes Brothers, Rusev and Bray. Samoan Drop on Goldust, tilt-a-whirl slam on Stardust then eliminates both Rhodes Brothers. The fans don't care, as they continue to boo the hell out of Reigns.

- Damien Sandow arrives at #21 and The Miz tries to steal his spot, ordering him to give up his spot to Miz. Miz gets knocked out by Reigns and Sandow enters the rumble.
- Sandow gets tossed by Rusev and The Miz mocks Sandow.
- Jack Swagger in at #22 and hits the "Swagger Bomb" on Rusev.
- Ryback in at #23 nails Bray and Rusev and hits Reigns to cheers from the crowd. Ryback hits the "Meat Hook" on Rusev but then Ryback gets beat down by Bray. "CM Punk" chants fill the arena.
- Dean Ambrose is in at #25 to a big pop from the crowd. Ambrose attacks Kane, Bray and Rusev right away.
- Titus O'Neil comes in at #26, talks trash and is eliminated right away. Sorry Santino Marella, you still hold the quickest elimination record.
- Cesaro who came in at #28 hits his big mid air European uppercut on Ambrose.
- Big Show in at #29, choke slams Reigns.
- Show and Kane both eliminate Ryback.
- #30 belongs to Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler hits the ring to a huge pop from the fans. Ziggler immediately eliminates Bad News Barrett.
- Cesaro with the "Cesaro Swing" on Ziggler. But Ziggler comes back and eliminates Cesaro.
- Show hits Ziggler with the knockout punch and Show and Kane eliminate Ziggler. The fans boo and grew very hostile again. This elimination allowed Kane to break Shawn Michaels record of 39 total rumble eliminations and set it for himself at 41, by rumbles end.

*** The Final Four ***
- Ambrose, Reigns, Kane and Show are the final four in the rumble. Reigns and Ambrose team up and fight Show and Kane. Show choke slams Ambrose. Show and Kane eliminate Ambrose and the fans boo very heavily again and a "Bullshit" chant now starts, as Reigns is left against The Authority. Kane and Show end up getting into it with each other allowing Reigns to come up from behind and toss both men out to win the Royal Rumble. The fans are livid as we now have a "We Want A Refund" chant.

- After the match, Show and Kane attack Reigns. The Rock's music hits and the most electrifying man in sports entertainment arrives. Rock hits the "People's Elbow" on Kane, then blocks a Show choke slam, which allows Reigns to hit Show with the "Superman Punch". Rock hits "Rock Bottom" on Show. Rusev, who apparently wasn't legally eliminated, gets back in the ring and attacks Reigns. Reigns spears Rusev and eliminates Rusev to officially win the Royal Rumble. The Rock and Reigns celebrate to the fans still booing and have a stare down with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon who are standing on the ramp, as Royal Rumble ends.

*** My Predictions Score: 4-2 ***

The New Day defeat Kidd, Cesaro and Rose. WRONG
- The Bellas defeat Neidhart and Paige. RIGHT
- The Ascension defeat New Age Outlaws. RIGHT

WWE Royal Rumble 2015 Preview #WWE #RoyalRumble

It's the first big WWE pay per view of the year, it's the Royal Rumble! The match starts with two superstars, then another superstar enters every ninety seconds. The match continues as thirty superstars enter the Rumble, until one man is left standing. That man is given the biggest opportunity and biggest career moment in his career. He gets to main event Wrestlemania and receive a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match.

This year's Royal Rumble takes place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, home of the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and 76ers. A city best known for their Philly Cheesesteaks and Rocky Balboa. Tonight, Philly will be known for something else. Philly will be known as the city that crowns a new #1 Contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

*** Tonight's Card ***

- 30 Man Royal Rumble: It's the big one. The match that will make or break your career. The match that makes every little boys dream of main eventing Wrestlemania come true. The Royal Rumble has honored it's winner with a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match at Wrestlemania since the idea was first introduced at Wrestlemania 9 when Yokozuna became the first Royal Rumble winner that year to earn a title shot. Many wrestling greats have won the Rumble, wrestling greats like Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Bret Hart, Brock Lesnar, Steve Austin, John Cena, The Undertaker, The Rock, Randy Orton, Edge, Batista and even an underdog like Rey Mysterio has won the big one. Who's walking out this year and main eventing Wrestlemania 31?

- "WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Triple Threat Match": Brock Lesnar (c) vs. John Cena vs. Seth Rollins: John Cena finally gets to cash in on his #1 Contendership that he earned back at Hell In A Cell when he defeated Randy Orton in a #1 Contenders match. This will be Cena and Lesnar's fourth and possibly final match against each other since Lesnar's return in 2012. Cena took the first match at Extreme Rules 2012. Lesnar dominated Cena at SummerSlam 2014 in their second encounter winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Cena. Cena took the third match at Night of Champions 2014 by DQ due to Seth Rollins interfering. As a reward for helping The Authority return to TV, Triple H inserted Seth Rollins into the title match and made it a Triple Threat Match. Rollins, looks to finally win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and solidifying his spot as the future of the WWE. Rollins also still has the Money In The Bank briefcase in his possession. Could Rollins cash in if he fails to win the title in the triple threat? Who will leave Royal Rumble the champion? Whoever it is will move on to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against the Royal Rumble winner at Wrestlemania 31.

- "WWE World Tag Team Championship Match": The Usos (c) vs. The Miz and Damien Sandow: The Miz and Sandow look to win back the WWE World Tag Team Championship, as they get their rematch against the team they lost the titles to, The Usos. The Usos have had their issues with Miz and Sandow leading up to tonight. The feud started when Miz tried to help Jimmy Uso's wife, Naomi, hit it big in Hollywood. Jimmy Uso thought Miz was full of it and had no intentions of helping Naomi at all. The tension and jealousy built up a little between Jimmy and Naomi a few weeks after. The Miz and Sandow also look to be becoming jealous of each other, as Sandow has the fans backing him and both men claim they will win the Royal Rumble. What will happen when these two teams meet? Will The Usos retain? Will Miz and Sandow regain? Will Naomi stay loyal to Jimmy Uso? Can Miz and Sandow still get along?

- The Ascension vs. New Age Outlaws: This match was thrown together after this past Monday's RAW Legends Reunion Show. The Ascension interrupted the nWo and disrespected Hall, Nash and X-Pac. The Ascension claimed to be the past, present and future of the tag team division and looked to wipe out the nWo. The APA and The New Age Outlaws made the save and took out The Ascension. Tonight, we get tag team action as The Ascension look to prove to the WWE Universe that they are indeed the team of the future and will destroy any team in their path. The New Age Outlaws look to stand up for all the legend teams that The Ascension have disrespected and shut the newcomers up once and for all. Who will come out on top? The Ascension, who's hell bent on destruction? Or the legends and former Degenerates, known as the New Age Outlaws?

- Paige and Nattie Neidhart vs. Nikki and Brie Bella: Paige and Nattie have had their issues with the Bella Twins this past month. The WWE Divas Champion, Nikki Bella, is looking at solidifying her spot as the top champion in the division. Brie Bella, forgiving and forgetting everything Nikki used to turn on her over the fall, now backs her sister again. Nattie Neidhart and Paige, now best friends, team together and look to bring the Bellas down a notch or two. Which divas team comes out on top? And let's not forget about Nattie's husband, Tyson Kidd, who's also seemed to be taking a liking to the Bellas.

- "Elimination Match": The New Day vs. Adam Rose, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro: The newly formed faction of The New Day have arrived. Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E. make up the overly excited trio. Adam Rose, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro have had their issues with The New Day this past month. Kidd and Cesaro recently formed a tag team together. Adam Rose looks to have put himself on the edge of the dark side, after attacking The Bunny in his Exotic Express and has been grewing apart from his Rosebud friends. Which new team will walk out the victors tonight?

So there is this year's card for the 2015 Royal Rumble. And now it's a new year, so it's time for something new. Every pay per view preview I post I will put my predictions on who I think will win each match and keep track of my wins and losses throughout the year.

- The New Day defeat Kidd, Cesaro and Rose.
- The Bellas defeat Neidhart and Paige.
- The Ascension defeat New Age Outlaws.
- Brock Lesnar defeats Cena and Rollins. Rollins doesn't cash in money in the bank.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon 1.23.15: #SmackDown Results

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. Today's edition is your Smackdown recap from last night's show. Smackdown took place this week in Austin, Texas. Daniel Bryan is looking ahead to the Royal Rumble, but has to beat Kane, tonight, to get there. Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback are back, thanks to John Cena and another assist from Sting. Tonight those three look for a chance to earn a spot into the Royal Rumble as well. Let's get to this week's Smackdown recap.

- In Ring Segment with Daniel Bryan: Bryan says he could talk about his match with Kane, winning the WWE World Title back, Sting and The Authority sucking but he won't. Instead Bryan calls out Erick Rowan, Ryback and Dolph Ziggler, who have been re-instated. Ryback says this is his dream, The Authority sucks and thanks John Cena and Sting. Rowan takes the mic next and says being gone gave him time to think, he's seen a new light and proved he belongs on top at Survivor Series. Ziggler takes the mic next and says he'd take any punishment from The Authority, as long as he's not sitting at home and bitching about it on a podcast (CM Punk shot). The Authority cut them off and are out to give their opinions. Seth Rollins has a mic and calls Bryan a garden gnome. Ziggler says Rollins has his nose up Triple H's ass and dares him to come to the ring. Rollins says he has more important business tonight. Kane calls Bryan and company disrespectful and Big Show says he'll destroy Bryan and company in the Royal Rumble. Bryan and Ziggler make fun of Rollins running from Lesnar and Kane and Show getting "F-5'ed" by Lesnar on RAW. Ziggler wants a fight, so he gets Bad News Barrett in the opening match.

- "Ziggler's Royal Rumble Spot On The Line": Dolph Ziggler vs Bad News Barrett: Ziggler hits a drop kick for two. Barrett sends Ziggler into the ring post. Ziggler dodges a Barrett corner splash and hits a DDT. Barrett grounds Ziggler with an armbar. Ziggler hits a jawbreaker, then dodges another Barrett corner charge. Ziggler hits a splash, a neck breaker and drops an elbow on Barrett for a near fall. Barrett kicks Ziggler then goes for the "Bullhammer". Ziggler counters with a drop kick then hits the "Zig Zag". Ziggler covers Barrett and scores the pinfall. Ziggler is in the Royal Rumble on Sunday.

- Backstage, Roman Reigns talks about his issues with Big Show, says Show is a scared little man in a giants body and he'll go through Show first, on his way to winning the Royal Rumble on Sunday.

- Backstage, Fandango draws his Royal Rumble number. Fandango looks to have drawn a great number, as he makes out with Rosa to celebrate. Dean Ambrose switches his numbers with Fandango during the make out session.
 

- "Ryback's Royal Rumble Spot On The Line": Ryback vs Rusev: Ryback chases Rusev out with a shoulder block then scores a near fall with a reversed suplex. Rusev plants some kicks and stomps. Ryback hits an elbow, some chops, a boot and a power slam on Rusev. Ryback hits a sit down stunner but gets his power bomb countered with a slam by Rusev for a near fall. Ryback gets crotched on the ropes and kicked in the face. Rusev goes for "The Accolade" but Ryback counters with the spine buster. Ryback goes for the "Meat Hook" but Rusev rolls to the floor. Ryback tosses Rusev into the barricade and unloads on Rusev with punches. Ryback gets back in the ring and wins by count out. After the match, Rusev attacks Ryback and goes for the thrust kick. Ryback counters the kick and nails the "Meat Hook" on Rusev. Ryback calls for "Shell Shock" but Rusev escapes. Ryback is in the Royal Rumble on Sunday.

- Brie Bella vs Naomi: Naomi with a quick near pinfall rollup. Brie lands some shots then plants Naomi with a bulldog. Brie charges Naomi with the running knee but Naomi moves out of the way. Naomi gets some shots of her own in until Brie works on Naomi's knee. Brie hits Naomi with the sit down facebuster and scores the pinfall.

- "Rowan's Royal Rumble Spot On The Line": Erick Rowan vs Luke Harper: The former Wyatt Family members do battle again tonight. Harper lands kicks early. Rowan plants Harper with a hiptoss, hits three corner splashes and near falls Harper with a spin kick. Rowan still in control, gets a near fall on a power bomb. Rowan climbs the ropes but misses a splash. Harper lands a big boot, then a clothesline on Rowan to score the pinfall. Rowan is banned from the Royal Rumble.

- "No DQ Match, Bryan's Royal Rumble Spot On The Line": Daniel Bryan vs Kane: Kane hits a neck breaker on the floor. Kane sends Bryan head first into the barricade. Kane has a kendo stick, but Bryan steals it and unloads kendo stick shots on Kane. Bryan leaps off the ropes but catches a Kane jaw uppercut. Kane hits Bryan with a steel chair. Bryan goes for a suicide dive but Kane counters with a shot. Kane tosses Bryan into the steel steps as Mercury and Noble arrive. Kane goes for the "Tombstone" on the announcers table but Bryan counters and shoves Kane off the table. Kane blocks a running knee. Bryan sends Kane into the ring post and hits a dive, wiping everyone out. Mercury and Noble attack Bryan as Kane goes to the top rope. Bryan dodges Kane's top rope move and goes for the "Yes Lock". Mercury and Noble break up the submission. Bryan unloads on Mercury and Noble with kicks, splashes and drop kicks. Kane plants Bryan with a choke slam and gets a near fall. Kane grabs a steel chair and moves toward Bryan. Bryan hits a drop kick on Kane's knee, sending Kane face first into the turn buckle. Bryan hits the running knee and scores the pinfall. Bryan is in the Royal Rumble on Sunday.

- After the match, Big Show gets in the ring and attacks Bryan. Show unloads on Bryan as the rest of The Authority join in on the attack. Erick Rowan, Ryback and Dolph Ziggler hit the ring to make the save for Bryan. The whole Smackdown locker room empties out next and we have a Royal Rumble preview as bodies are everywhere. Roman Reigns is out next, sends Big Show to the floor and "Superman Punches" Miz and Damien Sandow. Smackdown closes out with Bryan, Reigns, Rowan, Ryback and Ziggler left as the last ones standing.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 1.13.15: #RAW Results

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's the RAW recap from last night's show. RAW took place this week in New Orleans, Louisiana, the city known for its Jazz music and of course home of the king of all parties, the Mardi Gras. Last week on RAW, we saw Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback fired by The Authority. Seth Rollins added to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match at Royal Rumble. My boy, Bad News Barrett crowned new WWE Intercontinental Champion. How would RAW fair this week? Let's get to this week's RAW recap.

- In Ring Segment with John Cena: Cena talks about The Authority being back, how Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback were fired last week, says he's winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Royal Rumble, will go home with the title leaving WWE without a champion for Wrestlemania and won't return unless Ziggler, Rowan and Ryback are rehired. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon arrive. Triple H and Cena go back and forth with Triple H finally giving Cena an opportunity. Triple H announces Cena vs. Seth Rollins in an "All Heels Lumberjack Match" and if Cena wins then Ziggler, Rowan and Ryback can have their jobs back. And that match is now.  

- "All Heels Lumberjack Match": John Cena vs. Seth Rollins: Cena gets tossed to the floor and attacked, but Cena gets a shot in on Bad News Barrett. Rollins takes control until Super Cena hulks up. Rollins blocks the "Five Knuckle Shuffle". Cena hits the "Five Knuckle Shuffle" on the second attempt and after more back and forth action. Cena hits the "AA" on Rollins, but Mercury and Noble jump on the apron. Cena knocks the Stooges off as the lumberjacks pull Rollins out of the ring to safety. Cena climbs to the top rope and leaps to the floor, body pressing the pile of lumberjacks. Back in the ring, Rollins gets a couple near falls and counters another Cena "AA". Cena hits the "AA" on the next attempt and Mercury and Noble again get involved. Cena gets pulled to the floor and beat down by the lumberjacks. Rollins goes for the "Curb Stomp" but Cena counters it into the "STF" submission. Kane and Big Show help Rollins escape the submission. Show lands the knockout punch on Cena allowing Rollins to cover Cena for the pinfall.

- Backstage Segment with Stephanie McMahon, Naomi, The Usos and Dean Ambrose: Due to comments made on Smackdown, Stephanie is making Naomi fight with one hand tied behind her back tonight. Stephanie is also making Dean Ambrose get evaluated by a doctor tonight, because he's a threat to everyone. If Ambrose fails, than he's banned from the Royal Rumble.

- Backstage, The Miz and Damien Sandow joke about The Golden Globes.

- Backstage, The doctor meets with Dean Ambrose. The doctor appears to be hypnotizing Ambrose with a clock.

- Cesaro and Tyson Kidd vs. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods: Kofi flies over the ropes and takes out Cesaro. Kidd, elbow off the top rope on Kofi for two. Cesaro and Kidd double team Kofi. Cesaro with the "Cesaro Swing" and a double team move by Kidd, for a near fall on Kofi. More beatdowns and double teams until Kofi finally hot tags Woods. Woods unloads on Kidd and kicks Cesaro. Adam Rose, who's at ringside, gets on the apron. Woods chases Rose off and Big E lays Rose out on the floor. Woods and Kofi hit the double team stomp on Kidd for the pinfall.

- Rumors have been circulating that "Macho Man" Randy Savage is officially going to be apart of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2015.

- In Ring Segment with Big Show: Show talks about his WCW days, competition, job security and says Roman Reigns isn't competition. Says Reigns is the WWE's version of the New York Knicks, Reigns is a loser and so are Reigns' fans. Roman Reigns' music hits and out comes Reigns through the crowd. Show exits as Reigns is in the ring with a mic. Reigns compares Show to Jack and the Beanstalk, basically telling the whole story with Reigns as Jack and him kicking the Giant's (Show) teeth down his throat. Luke Harper arrives looking for a fight and Show directs him to Reigns.

- Roman Reigns vs. Luke Harper: Samoan drop on Harper and Reigns goes for the "Superman Punch". Harper escapes to the floor. Reigns and Harper trade moves then end up on the floor. Harper tosses Reigns into the barricade. Reigns hits a neck breaker for two then goes for another samoan drop. Harper counters and lands the big boot for two. Reigns counters the Harper power bomb with a side slam for two. Reigns goes for the "Superman Punch" but Show distracts Reigns, allowing Harper to get a near fall after a side slam. Reigns goes to the floor, stares down Big Show then lands the flying apron drop kick on Harper. Reigns kicks Show in the face, but Reigns eats a super kick from Harper for a near fall. Harper goes for the head decapitating clothesline but gets crushed with a Reigns spear instead. Reigns covers and has the pinfall. After the match, Show attacks Reigns and knocks Reigns out with the knockout punch.

- Backstage, Jimmy Uso and Naomi are upset about Naomi's stipulations later.

- Backstage, more comedy with Miz and Damien Sandow. Miz has been having a camera crew film his home life for the past six months. (If it involves shower scenes of his wife Maryse, I'll watch it).

- "Naomi One Hand Tied Behind The Back": Naomi vs. Alicia Fox: Naomi gets little offense in until Fox takes over. Fox, back breaker for two. Fox taunts the one handed Naomi. Naomi unloads with kicks, kicking Fox to the floor. Naomi follows and beats Fox around the floor. Back in the ring, Fox lands a kick then follows with the scissors kick to score the pinfall. The Usos look upset, backstage, after the match.

- Backstage, the doctor shows Dean Ambrose pictures of WWE Superstars and Ambrose has to say the first thing that comes to mind.

- In Ring Segment with Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar: Heyman reminds us that Lesnar was the 1 that put the 1 in Undertaker's 21-1 Wrestlemania streak last year. Heyman calls Lesnar dominate and hypes the WWE World Heavyweight Championship contract signing for Royal Rumble later.

- The Miz vs. Jey Uso: Back and forth action, starting things out. Jey hits a cross body on Miz from the top rope. Jey hits a splash in the corner but Miz lands a kick to Jey's knee. Miz works over Jey's leg then goes for the figure four leg lock. Jey counters the submission and cradles Miz for a near fall. Jimmy Uso and Damian Sandow get involved, causing a distraction. Miz capitalized and hit Jey with the "Skull Crushing Finale" to pick up the pinfall.

- In Ring Segment with Daniel Bryan: Talks about last time being in New Orleans he left WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Says he's winning the Royal Rumble this year, main event Wrestlemania and doesn't care what The Authority have to say about it. Stephanie McMahon interrupts Bryan with a mic in hand. Stephanie gives Bryan a copy of her fitness DVD then shows footage of Kane "Tombstone" piledriving Bryan on the steel steps last year. Steph says Bryan isn't an A+ player, talks about his surgery and makes fun of Bryan's unborn children. Bryan tells Steph to do the "yes" chant cause it's probably a better workout then her DVD, talks about his road to the title last year and his road back from injury this year. Steph announces that Kane will be his opponent this week on Smackdown and out comes the Corporate sellout. Bryan and Kane go at it on the floor. Kane tosses Bryan into the steel steps and goes for the "Tombstone" piledriver. Bryan counters, shoves Kane into the ring post and unloads on Kane. Referees pull both men apart but Bryan hits a running knee, a suicide dive and gets some mounted punches in on Kane before the fight is over.

- Backstage Segment with Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins: Rollins says he's the future of the WWE. Lesnar says he'll decide when the future begins. Heyman tries to make them focus on destroying John Cena at the Royal Rumble.

- Brie Bella vs. Paige: Nattie Neidhart and her husband Tyson Kidd are at ringside. Paige lands knees on Brie. Brie hits a running knee of her own into Paige's face. Brie drop kick for a two count. Paige hits a kick on Brie for a two count. Kidd gets on the apron, distracting Paige. Brie rolls Paige up for the pinfall. After the match, Nattie yells at Kidd then smiles as Paige slaps Kidd in the mouth.

- Backstage, Bray Wyatt has officially entered this year's Royal Rumble and hypes up the match.

- Randy Savage is officially announced for the WWE Hall of Fame. Hulk Hogan is confirmed to be his inductor.

- The Ascension vs. Two Local Wrestlers: More better then past tag team videos and the "Fall of Man" delivered to their opponents for the pinfall.

- Backstage, Dean Ambrose somehow reversed the roles as he now has the doctor on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Ambrose tells him to sign the papers that approves Ambrose to be in the Royal Rumble and he'll help the doctor get help. The doctor signs the papers, clearing Ambrose for the Royal Rumble.

- In Ring Segment with Rusev and Lana: Lana thanks The Authority for firing Ryback, thanks John Cena for failing earlier tonight and Rusev says Ryback was spineless and deserved to be fired. Dean Ambrose's music hits and Ambrose attacks Rusev to start their match.

- Rusev vs. Dean Ambrose: Ambrose running bulldog. Ambrose charges but Rusev takes out the knee. Rusev works on the knee next. Rusev counters a tornado DDT attempt by Ambrose and tosses him across the ring. Ambrose drops Rusev, goes to the top rope and hits the flying elbow for two. Rusev lands kicks and a knee to Ambrose. Rusev refuses to let up with the knees in the corner on Ambrose. The referee stops the match and awards it to Rusev. After the match, Ambrose argues with the referee for stopping the match, then catches a Rusev thrust kick to the face. Rusev poses with the Russian Flag. 

- Contract Signing for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match at Royal Rumble: Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, John Cena, Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman are all present. Heyman speaks first, talks Brock Lesnar, John Cena, The Authority, what's best for business and builds up Lesnar's accomplishments. Heyman thinks the triple threat match could now become a double cross. Rollins is next, brags about everything he's done and he's winning the title. Lesnar speaks, says he's conquered Triple H, John Cena and The Undertaker, he'll conquer Rollins too. Cena is up next, says he's winning the title, he and Lesnar will kick Rollins' ass then Cena will kick Lesnar's ass.

Rollins says Cena has a great plan but his plans seem to never work. Cena ducks Rollins as he swings his briefcase. Lesnar hits german suplexes on Cena and Rollins. Cena picks Lesnar up and hits "AA" through a table. Triple H distracts Cena, allowing Rollins to hit the "Curb Stomp" on Cena. Rollins then hits the "Curb Stomp" on Lesnar. The Authority celebrate on the stage as Cena is out on the floor and Lesnar is looking up at The Authority from the mat.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's the RAW results from last night's show. RAW took place live in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was a special Christmas edition of RAW. Hulkamania ran wild as "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan served as the acting GM. Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt battled in a "Miracle On 34th Street Fight". Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper hosted Piper's Pit with Rusev as his guest. More build up to the Royal Rumble. All that and plenty more, let's get to the results.

- In Ring Segment with Hulk Hogan, John Cena and Seth Rollins: Hulk Hogan, tonight's GM, comes to the ring, full of holiday cheer. Hogan runs down tonight's card and out comes John Cena. Cena talks about how iconic Hogan is and talks about what happen last Monday on RAW. Cena wants Brock Lesnar and some revenge but Lesnar's not here tonight, so Cena wants Seth Rollins. Rollins' music hits and Rollins appears with The Stooges. Rollins says Cena's running his mouth again, no one wants to hear him, Rollins is the future, Cena's time is up and Rollins' time is now. Rollins next targets Hogan. Rollins says The Authority should be running RAW not Hogan, Hogan is a farce, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are depressed because people like Hogan are running RAW into the toilet, blames Sting and wants Cena to reinstate The Authority as Rollins' Christmas present. Cena tells Rollins to shut up, Rollins lies, cheats, steals, turned on his friends and Cena will not bring The Authority back. Hogan announces Rollins vs. Cena and that starts now.

- John Cena vs. Seth Rollins: Rollins orders The Stooges to surround Cena which distracts Cena and Rollins attacks. Rollins unloads on Cena with punches and kicks early in the match. Rollins works on Cena's knee next and focuses on Cena's leg. Rollins hits a knee drop for a near fall. Double clothesline puts both men down. Rollins and Noble distract the referee as Mercury cheap shots Cena. Rollins hits a suicide dive on Cena then gets a near fall with a rollup. Another near fall by Rollins with a super kick. Rollins goes for the turn buckle power bomb, Cena counters with the "AA" but Rollins lands on his feet, countering it. Cena hits a back body drop then goes for the "STF" but Rollins counters and hits Cena with an enzuigiri for a near fall. Cena hits a power bomb for a near fall. Super Cena emerges with the back body drop, five knuckle shuffle and an "AA" attempt. Mercury and Noble jump on the apron but get knocked off by Cena. Cena near fall with a fist drop from the turn buckle. Rollins counters a superplex, hits the turn buckle power bomb and gets a near fall. Cena dodges the "Curb Stomp" and locks Rollins in the "STF". Mercury and Noble try to interfere but Cena lifts them both up and hits a double "AA". Rollins goes for a briefcase attack but misses. Cena hits "AA" on Rollins and scores the pinfall.

- Jack Swagger vs. Fandango: Swagger goes for the "Patriot Lock" early but Fandango escapes to the floor. Swagger goes for a "Swagger Bomb" but Fandango gets his legs up to counter. Swagger is able to hit the "Swagger Bomb" on the next attempt and gets a near fall. Fandango lands a series of enzuigiris on Swagger, putting Swagger down. Fandango hits the leg drop off the turn buckle on Swagger for the pinfall.

- Backstage Segment with Dolph Ziggler: Ziggler builds up his match with Luke Harper tonight, talks about their match at TLC and will steal the show tonight as usual.

- Adam Rose vs. R-Truth: Rose and Truth have a dance off. Rose gets too involved and gets rolled up by Truth for the pinfall. After the match, Rose lays The Bunny out with a spine buster, unloads kicks and punches on The Bunny, hits a running knee on The Bunny against the steel steps, tosses The Bunny into the barricade then storms past his Rosebuds.

- Big Show vs. Roman Reigns: Reigns lands punches early but Show returns with a shoulder tackle, punches to the midsection and a head butt. Show with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Show drops an elbow for a near fall. Show delivers more rib shots on Reigns. Show locks in a chin lock but Reigns escapes with elbows and punches. Reigns gets Show down with a flying clothesline and a samoan drop. Reigns goes for the "Superman Punch" but Show pushed Reigns off. Reigns gets Show down over the bottom rope and hits the running drop kick from the floor to the apron. Reigns lands a "Superman Punch" on Show that sends Show into the announcers table. Show gets counted out giving Reigns the win. After the match, Show has a temper tantrum and tosses the announcers table over.

- Backstage Segment with Dean Ambrose: Ambrose builds up his match against Bray Wyatt tonight, all Ambrose wants for Christmas is Bray and Bray is getting a beating tonight.

- Brie Bella vs. Nattie Neidhart: Mat wrestling by the two divas early. Brie with a near fall after knocking Nattie off the turn buckle. Brie hits two running knees against the ropes for a near fall. Brie with chin locks and kicks. Brie with a sunset flip but Nattie rolls through and goes for the "Sharpshooter". Brie counters with an inside cradle. Nattie counters it with her own inside cradle and scores the pinfall. After the mat, Nattie's husband Tyson Kidd, celebrates as Nattie knocks Nikki Bella off the apron.

- Goldust and Stardust vs. Los Matadores and El Torito: Torito with a suicide dive on Stardust but Torito gets caught. Diego tags in and scores a near fall on Goldust with a sunset flip. Goldust beats down Diego with punches and fist drops. Stardust tags in and goes to work on Diego next. Fernando hot tags in and takes out Goldust with a clothesline and flying shoulder. Torito is in and gets caught by Goldust. Stardust gets taken out and Fernando hits the springboard moonsault on Goldust for the pinfall.

- "WWE Intercontinental Championship Match": Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Luke Harper: Harper attacks before the bell and hits a big boot, a suicide dive, then tosses Ziggler into the barricade. Harper hits Ziggler with the "Bossman Slam" on the floor. The referee checks on Ziggler and Ziggler says to ring the bell. Harper lands a super kick and a sit down power bomb for a near fall. Harper continues to beat down Ziggler as the match continued. On the floor, Ziggler gets a super kick countered and sent face first into the announcers table. Back in the ring, Ziggler misses a corner splash and is near falled by Harper. Harper with a pump handle slam for a near fall. Ziggler lands punches and gets a near fall rollup. Harper with a sit down slam for a near fall. Ziggler counters a power bomb for a near fall. Ziggler lands a super kick but gets his head clotheslined almost off by Harper for a near fall. Ziggler counters the power bomb with "X-Factor" and the "Famasser" for a near fall. Harper dodges another "Famasser". Ziggler lands two super kicks and the "Zig Zag" to score the pinfall.

- Piper's Pit: "Rowdy" Roddy Piper thanks the fans and calls out his guests, Rusev and Lana. Lana says Christmas in America is a joke, Americans have fake smiles and fake holiday cheer and believe in a bloated man that delivers gifts to spoiled kids. Piper cuts Lana off and says we can believe in whatever we want because America is the land of the free. Rusev believes he can crush Ryback and Piper. Piper calls them Communist Scrooges and brings out their present......RYBACK. Ryback hits the ring and sends Rusev into the barricade. Rusev returns the favor with kicks on Ryback. Ryback blocks the thrust kick and plants Rusev with a spine buster. Rusev rolls to the floor and escapes.

- Alicia Fox, Emma and Naomi vs. Paige, Summer Rae and Cameron: Emma hits Summer with a drop kick for a near fall. Cameron is in and hits a "Codebreaker" on Emma for a near fall. Paige connects on Emma with knees for a near fall. Paige with head butts on Emma for a near fall. Naomi and Cameron are in next. Naomi kicks Cameron, dropping her on the top rope for a near fall. Alicia gets in and hits a head scissor driver on Cameron for the pinfall.

- The Miz vs. Jey Uso: Jey with a rollup for a near fall. Miz hits a shoulder tackle on Jey but Jey sends Miz over the ropes to the floor. Jey goes airborne and hits a plancha on Miz. Miz lands a boot to Jey's head for a near fall. Jey hits a Samoan drop. Miz avoids a second Samoan drop but Jey rolls up Miz. Miz counters the roll up with one of his own and scores the pinfall with a handful of tights.

- "Miracle on 34th Street Fight": Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt: Ambrose and Wyatt trade punches, chops, jabs, clotheslines and head butts. Out to the floor, Ambrose sends Wyatt into a pile of Christmas presents and then tosses Wyatt into the Christmas tree. Ambrose with an elbow drop on Bray with the tree taking the blow too. Ambrose tosses Wyatt into another Christmas tree and then hits Wyatt with the tree. Ambrose opens a present and it is a monitor inside. Ambrose tosses Wyatt into the barricade. Ambrose with a suicide dive that sends Wyatt falling into a pile of presents. Ambrose puts Wyatt on a table but Wyatt gets off the table before Ambrose can do anything. Ambrose puts a Christmas wreath over Wyatt’s head and punches Wyatt. Ambrose hits Wyatt with a present and then he opens another present to reveal a chair. Wyatt kicks Ambrose and tosses Ambrose off the stage and through a table. Back in the ring, we get mat wrestling from the two lunatics. Wyatt hits a back senton for a near fall. Back to the floor, Wyatt tosses Ambrose into a Christmas tree. Wyatt picks up the last Christmas tree and drops it on Ambrose. Wyatt gets chairs from under the ring and throws them into the ring. Wyatt hits Ambrose with a kendo stick in the chest, gut and then the back. Wyatt with a lariat for a near fall. Wyatt wedges a chair in the turn buckle. Ambrose sends Wyatt into the chair.

Ambrose tries to hit Wyatt with the kendo stick but Wyatt blocks it. Ambrose hits Wyatt with the kendo stick and then he hits the kendo stick leg sweep. Ambrose gets a chair and hits an elbow drop off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Wyatt sends Ambrose crashing into a ladder for a near fall. Wyatt goes for "Sister Abigail" but Ambrose counters and tosses Wyatt into the ladder for a near fall. Ambrose climbs the ladder and hits an elbow on Wyatt for a near fall. Ambrose puts chairs on top of Wyatt. Ambrose climbs the ladder with a chair but Wyatt throws a chair at Ambrose, knocking him off. Wyatt tosses Ambrose into the kendo stick in the corner and scores the pinfall. After the match, Wyatt goes over to Ambrose but Ambrose sprays a fire extinguisher into Wyatt’s face. Ambrose puts Wyatt on a table and then climbs the turnbuckles. Ambrose hits an elbow drop off the turnbuckles through the table on Wyatt to close out RAW.
