It's the Weekend 3 Count, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. The W3C, brings you news and rumors going on around the wrestling world. Whether it's WWE, TNA, GFW, ROH, Lucha Underground or the independent wrestling scene, I'll talk about it.

*** WWE News and Rumors ***

- This past week on RAW, Daniel Bryan, officially announced he is vacating the WWE Intercontinental Championship, due to injury. It is still unknown as to what kind of an injury Bryan has at the moment.

- With Daniel Bryan being out indefinitely, the WWE are looking for ways to use Bryan in a non-wrestling role, as Bryan is still way over with the WWE Universe.

- Rumors have been making the rounds in the WWE, saying that Samoa Joe has signed a two year deal with WWE. Nothing has been officially announced, but Samoa Joe has talked a lot about wanting to sign with WWE. Joe has said two guys he wants to fight are Kevin Owens and Brock Lesnar. Joe has slimmed down and added more muscle which WWE is very happy with. There have also been rumors that Joe might show up this Wednesday at the NXT Takeover: Unstoppable pay per view.

- It was announced that on May 31st WWE will be having an Elimination Chamber pay per view. Could this be a pay per view overkill? Payback is the 17th, Elimination Chamber the 31st and then Money In The Bank on June 14th. Three pay per views two weeks apart from each other.

- WWE originally had a live house show scheduled for May 31st. That show has been cancelled. The reason behind Elimination Chamber is it'll be a WWE Network pay per view only. No cable providers will have the authority to show the pay per view. The only way to see Elimination Chamber is by buying the WWE Network for only $9.99.

- Rumors have stated that there will be two Elimination Chamber matches. One being for the WWE World Tag Team Championship and the other being for the vacant WWE Intercontinental Championship.

- Rumors have speculated that El Torito may be leaving Los Matadores.

- WWE announced that they will be making a WWE Attitude Era book. The book will contain all of our favorite attitude era wrestlers: Steve Austin, The Rock, DX, Mankind, The Undertaker and many more.

- WWE also announced they will be releasing a book based on The Undertaker. The book will highlight The Undertaker's career and not highlight anything to do with the man who potrays the character, Mark Calloway.

- It was announced that WWE Chairman and CEO, Vince McMahon, will be inducted into the 25th Annual Boys and Girls Clubs of America's Hall of Fame.

- WWE have announced they may be interested in hiring Cedric Rougeau. Cedric is the son of Jacques Rougeau from the Rougeau Brothers tag team in the 80's. Cedric stands in at 6' 7" and weighs over 300 pounds.

- Paige returned to in-ring action this past Friday at a WWE house show. Paige helped Nikki Bella fight off Naomi and Tamina Snuka.

- Brie Bella appeared to have injured her shoulder at Fridays house show. It's unknown if it was a serious injury and if it will change the Divas tag match at Payback.

- ECW icon Tommy Dreamer competed at this weekend's NXT house show in a one on one match against Baron Corbin.

*** TNA News and Rumors ***

- Billy Corgan's first full week on the job with TNA is in the books. Many backstage talent have talked highly of Corgan so far and have stated that he has many character ideas he'd love to see happen that caught attention.

- Bobby Lashley returned to in-ring action this past week on Impact.

- It's been announced on Twitter that the main event of TNA's Slammiversary event will be Kurt Angle vs. Ethan Carter III for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

- TNA announced they will be moving TNA Impact to Wednesday night's at 9:00pm starting June 3rd.

- Sources have said that ROH's Roderick Strong was backstage at the live Impact. Many believe he'll be signing with TNA soon.

- TNA have stated that all their talent that were owed money have been paid and are caught up on their debts.

- Steve Austin had part 2 of his interview with TNA President, Dixie Carter, on his podcast this week.

*** GFW News and Rumors ***

The Young Bucks, Cliff Compton (Domino in WWE), Shelton Benjamin, Scott Hall, Jamin Olivencia, Andrew Everett, Jimmy Rave, Takaaki Watanabe, Trent Beretta, Cassidy Riley, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, Chase Stevens, Jim Cornette and TNA's Tyrus, have all signed on with GFW.

- Sources have said that The Young Bucks were on TNA's radar, but they chose to go with GFW and sign on with them.

- Sources have said that Jeff Jarrett has been talking to WGN, Spike, Fox Sports 2 and CMT about a possible television deal for GFW.

*** Other Wrestling News ***

- Ring of Honor made it clear that none of their wrestlers under contract will be allowed to work tv tapings with GFW. It was announced last week that TNA was turning down all of their contracted wrestlers from working GFW too.

- Former multi-time World Tag Team Champion, Devon Dudley, was on Taz's Human Podcast Machine podcast show this week.

- Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion turned UFC Fighter, Phil "CM Punk" Brooks, has officially stated that he's expected to be ready for his UFC debut by the end of 2015. Brooks has been taking MMA advice from another former WWE World Heavyweight Champion turned MMA fighter at one time, Dave Batista.
