Wrestling Lockup with Brandon 2.13.15: #SmackDown Recap

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. Today's edition is your Smackdown recap from last night's show. Smackdown was in Dayton, Ohio this week. Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns teamed up tonight in a grueling six team turmoil match. The Authority look to finally take out Bryan and Reigns. Did they succeed? Read the results and find out what went down on this week's Smackdown.

- Backstage, Kane is giving a pep talk to the six teams that are involved in tonight's tag team turmoil match. Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns will start the match off against a team and the winner advances. The last team standing in the end wins. Big Show says this is an opportunity for one team to shine and make a name for themselves. Kane closes the segment out with more pep talking to all the teams.

- R-Truth vs. Bray Wyatt: Truth lands a kick and some punches. Bray chokes Truth in the ropes and lands a punch. Truth dances and dodges Bray, causing Bray to go over the ropes to the floor. Bray on the offense now as he lands a punch on Truth while Truth's head was against the ring post. Bray hits a seated splash and applies a submission hold. Truth goes for a sunset flip, Bray counters with a seated splash, but Truth dodges it. Truth hits a leg lariat, a clothesline and a corkscrew flying forearm. Truth misses the scissors kick, but lands a jawbreaker. Bray hits a clothesline then finishes Truth off with "Sister Abigail" for the pinfall.

- Paige vs. Summer Rae: The Bella Twins are at the commentary table for this one. Paige lands a snapmare, a press slam and a wrist lock takedown. Summer gets a rollup, but Paige rolls through and hits a super kick. Paige head butts Summer and gets a near fall. Paige lands a series of corner elbows and knees. Summer gets a near fall as Paige yells at Nikki Bella. Summer finally gets in some offense with punches, a leg drop, a choke and applies a modified "Indian Death Lock". Paige escapes and gets a near fall rollup. Summer hits a DDT and lands some punches. Paige explodes on offense as she lands kicks, a series of clotheslines, a drop kick and a super kick. Paige locks in the "PTO" submission on Summer and makes Summer tap out.

- Adam Rose vs. Fandango (w/Rosa Mendes): Fandango grabs Rose by the hair as Rose wastes time talking to his Rosebuds at ringside. Rose sends Fandango into the turnbuckles, lands a wrist lock, a short arm clothesline, a european uppercut and lands a series of kicks on Fandango. Rose hits a suplex on Fandango for a near fall. Rose with a body scissors and a chin lock. Fandango hits some jabs, a clothesline and plants Rose with a power slam. Fandango climbs to the top rope and nails the flying leg drop. Fandango covers Rose and scores the pinfall. After the match, Rose punches some of the Rosebuds and storms to the back, pissed.

*** Tag Team Turmoil Match ***

- #1. Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns vs. The Miz and Damien Sandow: Bryan and Reigns have words with each other as they tag in and out.  Bryan hits a snapmare and a kick to the back of Miz. Reigns is in and lands punches on Miz. Sandow is in and hits Bryan with the "Reality Check". Miz distracts Sandow, tags in and misses a clothesline. Bryan hits a drop kick on Miz, Reigns tags in and hits the "Superman Punch". Before Reigns can hit the spear, Bryan tags in and hits the running knee on Miz for the pinfall. The Usos are out next.

- #2. Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns vs. The Usos: Bryan ground wrestles Jey and gets a near fall. Jey and Bryan both trade ground wrestling moves, next. The Usos land a back elbow and an elbow drop on Bryan for a near fall. Reigns is in and trades side head locks and shoulder tackles with both Usos. Jimmy hits a cross body and The Usos clothesline Reigns over the top rope. Bryan is in and goes to work on Jimmy with a single leg takedown, an "Indian Death Lock" submission, knees, punches, knee drops, european uppercuts, stiff kicks and a drop kick. Jey finally tags in and hits a flying forearm on Bryan for a near fall. The Usos send Bryan to the floor with a double axehandle. Reigns and Bryan tag in and out, working on Jimmy with punches, kicks and power moves. Jey tags in and hits a running butt splash on Bryan for a near fall. Jimmy is back in and gets a near fall with a diving head butt. More back and forth action and ground wrestling between both teams. Reigns hits a boot to Jimmy for a near fall, then applies a chin lock. Jey charges at Bryan but misses and crashes shoulder first into the ring post. Bryan hits a baseball slide on Jimmy, sending him into the barricade. Bryan kicks Jey in his injured arm and Reigns tells Bryan to stop because Jey is injured. Bryan and Reigns argue about the situation, before going back on offense.
Bryan hits a dropkick on Jey for a near fall. Bryan continues to work on Jey's injured arm. Jimmy finally tags in and lands clotheslines, kicks and uppercuts. Jey tags back in and hits a crossbody on Bryan for a near fall. Jimmy misses the running butt splash on Reigns. Jey flies over the top rope and takes out Reigns on the floor. Bryan hits a suicide dive on Jey. Reigns knocks out Jimmy with the "Superman Punch". Jey hits a super kick on Reigns and Bryan and then climbs to the top rope. Jey goes for the "Superfly Splash" on Bryan. Bryan blocks it by getting his knees up and then locks Jey in the "Yes Lock". Jey tries to fight out of it but eventually taps out. Los Matadores are out next.

- #3. Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns vs. Los Matadores: Bryan mat wrestles Diego with arm drags and wrist locks to start the match. Diego responds with a head scissor, chops, kicks and punches. Bryan switches to submission wrestling with a surfboard and a dragon sleeper. Diego hits a splash on Bryan on the floor then goes to the top rope. Bryan crotches Diego on the ropes, hits a suplex then applies the "Yes Lock" submission. Diego taps out and Titus O'Neil and Heath Slater are out next.

- #4. Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns vs. Titus O'Neil and Heath Slater: The one man band, Heath Slater, returns! Reigns tags in and lands a punch, a clothesline and a flapjack on Slater. Reigns nails the "Superman Punch" on Titus then spears Slater in half. Reigns covers Slater and scores the pinfall. The Ascension is out next.

- #5. Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns vs. The Ascension: Viktor lands punches and kicks on Bryan. Bryan gets knocked to the floor as Konnar pulled down the top rope. The Ascension beat down Bryan on the floor, until Reigns finally makes the save. Bryan is tossed over the barricade and Reigns is tossed over the announcers table. The Ascension continue to beat down Bryan on the floor until the referee finally DQ's The Ascension. Kane and Big Show are out next.

- #6. Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns vs. Big Show and Kane: Kane with kicks, forearms, a side head lock, a hammer lock and a shoulder tackle on Reigns for a near fall. Reigns hits a flying clothesline on Kane and both are down. Bryan is in and unloads kicks on Kane. Show is in, lands chops, sends Bryan into the ring post and tosses Bryan over the ropes back into the ring. Kane is back in, and scores a near fall with a side slam. Kane accidentally hits Show while beating on Bryan. Show tells Kane to watch what he's doing. Show yells at Reigns, then grabs Bryan by the throat, but Bryan counters and hits a DDT on both Kane and Show. Show splashes Bryan on the back for a near fall. Show starts to choke Brian out, as Kane yells at Show to finish him. Show refuses to listen to Kane's orders and continues to choke Bryan.
Kane tags in and again has words with Show, as Show wants to drop a turn buckle elbow drop. Bryan catches Kane in the "Yes Lock" submission but Show breaks it up. Show and Kane argue some more, then Show goes for the chokeslam on Bryan. Bryan counters the chokeslam with the "Yes Lock" submission, but Kane breaks it up. Show and Kane argue some more, until Show finally heard enough and hits Kane with the knockout punch. Reigns hits the spear on Show and Bryan hits the running knee on Show to score the pinfall. Smackdown closes out with Bryan and Reigns celebrating, having just run the whole tag team turmoil gauntlet, victorious.
