Wrestling Lockup with Brandon brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's the Smackdown results from last night's show. Last night's show took place in Houston, Texas. Smackdown was in the Halloween spirit throughout the evening, as it was their Halloween edition episode. Smackdown consisted of a Divas Halloween Battle Royal. Dolph Ziggler faced Kane in a rematch from RAW. Rusev battled The Great Khali. Main event time saw Dean Ambrose vs. Cesaro in a "Trick or Street Fight Match". A show with all these scary cast of characters and more. Let's get to this week's results.
- "Divas Halloween Battle Royal, Winner is #1 Contender to WWE Divas Championship": WWE Divas Champion, A.J. Lee, is at the commentary table for this one. Obviously all the Divas are dressed in Halloween outfits being a Halloween Battle Royal. The final four come down to Nikki Bella, Paige, Nattie Neidhart and Alicia Fox. Paige is in the process of trying to eliminate Nikki. Fox delivers a kick to Nattie that sends her to the floor for the elimination. Fox then hits a spear on Paige but both girls tumble to the floor, leaving Nikki as the winner and the new #1 Contender to the WWE Divas Championship. After the match, Nikki has some words with A.J. Lee at the commentary table.
- Inside the ring, The Authority is here and Kane has a mic. Kane says he gets a warm fuzzy feeling at Halloween and announces Dean Ambrose vs. Cesaro later in a "Trick or Street Fight Match". Seth Rollins says it'll be a shame if Bray Wyatt gets to Ambrose again, admits to selling out and says we are all in the presence of greatness. Kane announces that he's going to fight Dolph Ziggler tonight as punishment to Ziggler for aligning himself with John Cena.
- Dolph Ziggler vs. Kane: Seth Rollins, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble are all at ringside for this match. Ziggler is quick with punches and kicks but misses the "Famasser" and gets pushed away by Kane, going for a DDT. Kane gets a near fall with a short arm clothesline. Kane on the offense with power moves until Ziggler hits a neck breaker followed by the leaping elbow, for a near fall. Later in the match, Kane misses a shoulder block and hits the ring post instead. Kane avoids a neck breaker, but Ziggler hits the "Famasser" on target for a near fall.
Noble distracts Ziggler causing Ziggler to eat a Kane boot for a near fall. Kane goes for the choke slam but Ziggler counters with a sunset flip for a near fall. Ziggler super kicks Kane into the corner then goes for the splash. Kane catches Ziggler by the throat and choke slams Ziggler to hell for the pinfall. After the match, Kane choke slams Ziggler again and Mercury and Noble put the boots to Ziggler. Kane announces Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins, and that match is now.
- Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins: Rollins hits an easy "Curb Stomp" for the pinfall.
- Inside the ring, Heath Slater, dressed like a scarecrow for Halloween, is irritated by what John Cena did to him on RAW. Before he can cut a promo, we hear.......FEED ME MORE! Ryback power walks his way to the ring.
- Ryback vs. Heath Slater: Slater tries to pull some trickery with his fake scarecrow hand, then decides its time to rock out on air guitar. Ryback destroys Slater with a spine buster, the "Meat Hook" and the "Shell Shock" for the pinfall.
- Backstage segment with Adam Rose and his Rosebuds trick or treating in the locker room. We see different wrestlers dressed in costumes. R-Truth, dressed like a ghost, tells Rose that he is being upstaged by his sidekicks and treated like he doesn't exist. Truth tells Rose that maybe he should dress like his Bunny friend.
- Inside the ring, it's time for MizTV. Miz and Damien Sandow offer their services to The Authority team at Survivor Series. Next they introduce their guest, Mark Henry and ask about Henry turning on Big Show on RAW. Henry says Show was jealous of Henry, Show wanting to beat Rusev was for himself and not for the United States, Show wanted to outshine Henry and Show let Henry get his ass kicked by Rusev. Big Show's music hits and out comes the seven foot monster. Henry shoves Miz and Sandow at Show and tries to escape. Show runs over Miz and Sandow and brawls with Henry on the floor. Henry sends Show into the ring post then puts Show right through the ring barrier before escaping.
- Stardust and Goldust vs. Los Matadores: Diego with a near fall drop kick on Stardust. Fernando with a slingshot senton for a near fall on Stardust. Goldust is tagged in and trades punches with Fernando. Stardust pulls down the ropes, sending Fernando crashing to the floor. Later in the match, Los Matadores hit quick offensive moves on the bizarre brothers. Suicide dives over the ropes by Los Matadores on Goldust. Stardust hits a seated senton splash, off the ropes. Goldust and Stardust go after El Torito and bring him in the ring. Torito drop kicks Stardust to the floor then hits an arm drag sending Stardust into the ring barrier. Goldust gets rolled up by Diego for the pinfall.
- Backstage, Erick Rowan and Kane are watching See No Evil 2.
Rusev (w/Lana) vs. The Great Khali: Khali puts Rusev on the mat. Rusev with forearms but gets chopped down by Khali. Rusev lands a kick then the jumping thrust kick, putting Khali down. Rusev stomps on Khali's back then applies "The Accolade" for the submission win. After the match, Lana has mic. Says they will further destroy America. Rusev has targeted the American champion, Sheamus, and his United States Championship. Rusev will win the title and give it to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Sheamus' music hits and out comes the champ. Sheamus says he's been looking for a fight since Rusev challenged America and accepts the challenge. Sheamus goes for a "Brogue Kick" but Rusev escapes the ring.
Inside the ring, Bray Wyatt is here. Bray talks about the history of All Hallow's Eve (Halloween) and why people play pretend when they hide themselves in costumes and masks. Calls Dean Ambrose a monster, knows about all the bad things he's done, his sins will stain him forever and says that "she" still cries for him.
- "Trick or Street Fight Match": Dean Ambrose vs. Cesaro: Cesaro connects with a kendo stick than lands the double stomp. Cesaro works over Ambrose's upper body with more kendo stick shots. Ambrose tries to fight back but Cesaro continues to unload with kendo stick shots. Cesaro hits a powerbomb and scores a near fall. Cesaro goes back to work on Ambrose with more kendo stick shots, then begins to rearrange the jack o' lanterns at ringside in the ring. Cesaro goes for a suplex on the jack o' lanterns but Ambrose sends Cesaro to the floor. More kendo stick shots by Cesaro. The fight goes to the floor where Ambrose nails Cesaro and a bucket of halloween candy goes flying. Cesaro and Ambrose end up on top of the announcers table where Ambrose hits Cesaro with the kendo stick. Ambrose back drops Cesaro onto a jack o' lantern. Ambrose sends Cesaro to the floor, goes airborne, and catches a kendo stick shot again from Cesaro.
Cesaro shoves Ambrose's head into a bucket of water and apples. Ambrose spits water at Cesaro and hits him with a skeleton prop. Cesaro hits Ambrose with a steel chair and Ambrose hits Cesaro with a broom stick. Ambrose leaps off the top rope and elbow drops Cesaro right through the announcers table. Ambrose puts a jack o' lantern over Cesaro's head then hits the double arm DDT to score the pinfall. After the match, Ambrose puts another jack o'lantern on top of Cesaro's head then hits another double arm DDT. And that closes out Smackdown.
