Wrestling Lockup with Brandon 11.13.14: #TNA Impact Results

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's the TNA Impact results from last night's show. Impact took place from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Impact consisted of The Wolves defending their TNA World Tag Team Titles against James Storm and a mystery partner after Storm cashed in his "Feast or Fired" briefcase. Eric Young battled Tyrus. Samoa Joe delivers bad news. Main event time saw Austin Aries vs. Bobby Lashley. All this and more, result time.

- In Search Of MVP: Impact kicked off with Bobby Lashley looking for MVP. Kenny King doesn't know where he is, so Lashley tosses a garbage can against the wall, pissed.

- Davey Richards' Answer To James Storm: Storm is in the ring and wants to know if Davey Richards is joining the Revolution, now. The Wolves come to the ring. Eddie Edwards wants to give his opinion but Richards again says he can answer for himself. Richards says he's a Wolf and Storm is out of his mind, the answer is NO! Storm, Manik and Sanada attack The Wolves. Storm chokes Richards with a bullrope and steel chair shots Richards' leg. Storm hits Edwards in the head and Richards in the leg with his "Feast or Fired" briefcase. Storm announces he's cashing in his "Feast or Fired" tag team title match briefcase now.

- "TNA World Tag Team Championship Match": The Wolves (c) vs. James Storm and ???: Storm hits Edwards with "Eye of the Storm" as Abyss comes to the ring. Storm announces Abyss as the newest member of the Revolution and tags him in. Abyss hits a choke slam and the "Black Hole Slam" on Edwards and scores the pinfall. Storm and Abyss are the NEW TNA World Tag Team Champions.

- Madison Rayne vs Taryn Terrell: Back and forth action early. Terrell splashes Rayne from the apron to the floor. Back in the ring, Rayne, knocks Terrell off the ropes, hits a knee and gets a near fall. Terrell goes on the offense and refuses to put Rayne away. Rayne scores two near falls but has to release the pinfalls due to the referee catching her cheating in both attempts. Rayne goes for the "Rayne Check" but Terrell counters into a diving cutter for the pinfall.

- In Search Of Bobby Roode: Bobby Lashley asks Kurt Angle where Bobby Roode is. Roode has the night off to promote TNA. Lashley gets in Angle's face and is warned to back down. Lashley says he'll get what he wants, when he wants it.

- Revolution Recruitment: Manik hits up newcomer, Mahabali Sheera and says he wants Sheera to meet a powerful man.

- Kenny King Issues With Chris Melendez: King calls out Melendez, who comes to the ring. King says he loves America, he just hates Melendez cause he's a fraud. Mr. Anderson comes to the ring and calls Melendez a hero but gets told to shut up by King. Melendez says he has people that believe in him. King wants a match with Melendez then sucker punches Anderson before running away.

- "Handicap Elimination Match": The Menagerie vs. The BroMans and The Beautiful People: Rebel and Angelina Love go at it early. Crazy Steve smacks Love's ass, distracting Love. Rebel rolls Love up from behind for the pinfall. Knux gets pinned by Zema as Jessie held Knux's leg. Crazy Steve rolls up Zema Ion for the pinfall after. Love returns and hair sprays Rebel's eyes behind the referee's back, allowing Velvet Sky to score the pinfall on Rebel with "In Yo Face". Sky goes for a pinfall on Crazy Steve but Steve counters by holding down Sky and making out with her and pinning her in the process. Jessie hits a power bomb but show boats after. Steve hits a tornado DDT and scores the final pinfall for the win.

- Eric Young (w/Rockstar Spud) vs. Tyrus (w/Ethan Carter III): Tyrus unloads on EY with huge power moves early on. EY finally gets some offense in after Tyrus misses a splash. ECIII tries to get involved but Spud knocks ECIII out. EY drops the elbow from the top rope on Tyrus for the pinfall. After the match, Bobby Lashley arrives, spears EY, choke slams Spud then unloads steel chair shots on EY's arm. Lashley locks EY in a crossface until Austin Aries hits the ring for the save.

- Aries' Warning: Aries says he's pissed, Lashley can stop attacking people from behind and do it face to face instead. Aries wants Lashley tonight.

- Samoa Joe Vacates The TNA X-Division Title: Joe says he's not medically cleared to wrestle for quite awhile. Due to this, Joe must vacate the TNA X-Division Title. Joe says he'll be back to challenge for it when he's 100%.

- Samuel Shaw (w/Brittany) vs Gunner: Shaw tries to hit Gunner with a steel chair early on but misses. Gunner yells at Brittany but gets a chair drop kicked in his face by Shaw. Gunner sends Shaw to the floor and unloads on Shaw with a chair. Brittany distracts Gunner allowing Shaw to shove Gunner into the ring steps. Gunner comes back, suplexes and power bombs Shaw on a pile of chairs. Gunner yells at Brittany, telling her this is what they get. Brittany low blows Gunner but Gunner gets to the floor. Back in the ring, Shaw lands a chair shot and locks in the choke hold. Gunner counters with "Hangar 18" onto the pile of chairs and scores the pinfall.

- Bobby Lashley vs. Austin Aries: Aries with "IED" and a brainbuster attempt early but Lashley counters. Aries lands knees on Lashley and locks in the "Last Chancery". On the floor, Aries counters a Lashley slam and hits Lashley with "IED" on the barricade. Aries goes for a missile drop kick but Lashley pushes Aries away and delivers a huge clothesline. Lashley goes "Brock Lesnar" on Aries and belly to belly suplexes Aries over and over. Lashley beats Aries in the corner and goes for a top rope suplex. Aries counters and hits a missile drop kick. Lashley counters another brainbuster attempt but Aries unloads with elbow strikes. Aries sends Lashley to the floor then suicide dives Lashley into the barricade. Back in the ring, Lashley shoves Aries off the top rope and Aries lands on the ring steps.
Lashley destroys Aries on the floor by tossing Aries into the ring steps, tossing Aries around ringside and folds Aries in half with the spear. Both men get counted out in the process. After the match, Lashley press slams Aries on the ramp and locks in a "Crippler Crossface". Aries is choked out, Lashley chases away TNA officials and yells Bobby Roode's name in the camera as Impact ends.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon 11.6.14: #TNA Impact Results

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's the TNA Impact results from last night's show. Impact took place from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This week's Impact saw the finals of the Tag Team Tournament to crown new #1 Contender's to The Wolves' TNA Tag Team Championship. Havok defended the TNA Knockouts Championship against Gail Kim. And the Bobby Roode Era as TNA World Champion begins. Let's get to some results.

- The Bobby Roode Era Begins: Kurt Angle kicked off Impact by inviting out the new TNA World Champion, Bobby Roode. Roode gets a few words out about how he feels when MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley interrupt. MVP accuses Roode of being a sorry excuse of a wrestler and thinks he would've been the champion if not for his leg injury over the summer. MVP wants a shot at the TNA World Title tonight, Roode accepts the challenge and Angle approves it. Bobby Lashley doesn't look too happy that MVP just cut him off for a title shot.

- "Finals of the Tag Team Tournament": The Hardy Boys vs. Samoa Joe and Low Ki: Back and forth action between the two teams early on. Jeff hits "Whisper in the Wind" on Joe and tags in Matt. Matt hits the "Side Effect" on Ki and gets a near fall. Matt hits a bulldog and a clothesline on Ki for another near fall. Ki fires back, hangs Matt in the "Tree of Woe" and hits a top rope double stomp for a near fall. Ki lifts Matt up but Matt counters with a "Twist of Fate", covers Ki, but Joe breaks up the pin. Joe locks Matt in the "Coquina Clutch", but Jeff comes off the top rope with the "Swanton Bomb", landing on both Matt and Joe, breaking up the submission. The Hardy's hit "Poetry In Motion on Ki setting up the finish. Jeff hits the "Swanton Bomb" on Ki and Matt hits a moonsault on Ki to score the pinfall. The Hardy's are the new #1 Contenders to the TNA World Tag Team Championship.

- James Storm has given Davey Richards a week to decide whether or not he's joining the Revolution.

- Backstage, Bobby Roode talks about when MVP suspended him over the summer, all the obstacles he's had to go through to get the TNA World Title and will show MVP why he's the "It Factor".

- A Segment Full of Creepiness: Samuel Shaw and Brittany are in the ring. Shaw talks about turning on Gunner, a man he thought was his friend and how Brittany has shown him the light. Brittany licks Shaw's face and it seriously looks like Impact is about to turn into a Cinemax after midnight movie as Shaw has Brittany in the missionary position on the mat. Gunner arrives and tells Shaw that he was his friend but Brittany got in his head, Shaw wanted to be like Gunner instead of being himself, the couple make him sick and look like two creepy bastards. Shaw swings at Gunner but Gunner ducks and starts choking out Shaw. Brittany jumps on Gunner's back allowing Shaw to low blow Gunner. Shaw puts on a pair of gloves and locks Gunner in a choke hold, choking Gunner out.

- Backstage, MVP says Angle showed his true colors when Angle took MVP's job. Angle says MVP showed his after what he did earlier.

- "Hardcore Match": Magnus and Bram vs. Devon and Tommy Dreamer: Dreamer and Devon jump the Brits on their way to the ring. Dreamer hits Magnus with a water bottle. Magnus crotches Dreamer on the barricade. Devon hits Bram with a water bottle. Magnus and Bram beat Devon with a turn buckle wrench until Dreamer unloads with a trash can lid. Dreamer gets drop toe holded on a steel chair. Magnus smacks Devon with a trash can. Devon returns the favor a little bit later with a trash can lid shot to Bram. Devon puts a trash can between Bram's legs and smacks it with a steel chair. The tower of doom hits as all four men are down afterwards. Devon counters a Bram suplex and sends Bram flying out of the ring and through a table. Magnus lands solid kendo stick shots on Devon and Dreamer. Dreamer kicks Magnus in the groin, hits a DDT and scores the pinfall.

- Backstage, Gail Kim talks about everything Havok has done to her but tonight Gail Kim is coming for the TNA Knockouts Title.

- I'm With Spud: Jeremy Borash interviews Rockstar Spud in the ring. Spud wants no one to feel sorry for him and explains why he was apart of Dixie Carter's faction in the past. Spud talks about being Ethan Carter III's friend until he realized what a wanker and a douchbag he was and he doesn't need ECIII anymore. ECIII and Tyrus interrupt and come to the ring. ECIII calls Spud a loser, the leader of the  loser fans and Borash and Spud owe everything to the Carter Family. ECIII tells Spud to apologize, Spud says no, so Tyrus grabs Spud. Spud says he's sorry......sorry ECIII is a big nosed douche bag. ECIII knocks Borash to the canvas then double teams Spud with Tyrus after Spud tries jumping on ECIII's back. Eric Young hits the ring with a steel chair and makes the save.

- Prematch Attack: Gail Kim attacks Havok on her way to the ring but gets destroyed by the female bulldozer. The referees stop Havok from avalanching Kim into the ring post, opening up a few punches landed by Kim. Havok rams Kim head first into the ring post, hits a forearm shot, drags Kim by the hair up the ramp and stops an attempted Kim comeback by tossing Kim off the ramp and onto the floor. Kim grabs her injured shoulder as officials check on Kim.

- "TNA Knockouts Championship Match": Havok (c) vs. Gail Kim: Kim refuses medical attention, demands the match to be started and it is. Havok hits a spine buster for a near fall. Kim keeps coming at Havok but Havok uses her power to just knock Kim back down. Havok picks Kim up on the apron and drops Kim down right on the ring steps. Havok begins toying with Kim, refusing to put her away. Kim counters a spine buster and scores a head scissor on Havok. Havok side slams Kim for a near fall. Kim delivers an arm breaker and scores a near fall with a cross body block. Havok blocks "Eat Defeat" and hits a spine buster for a near fall. Kim counters a choke slam and hits "Eat Defeat" for a near fall. Havok catches Kim coming off the top rope, plants Kim with a choke slam and scores the pinfall. Havok retains the TNA Knockouts Title.

- Backstage, Bobby Lashley is packing his ring bags and refusing to talk to MVP or support MVP in his World Title Match.


- "TNA World Championship Match": Bobby Roode (c) vs. MVP: MVP lands a double underhook for a near fall. Roode offensive fury with a back elbow, knee lifts to the gut and a legsweep for a near fall. The fight goes to the floor where MVP tosses Roode into the barricade and then the ring steps. MVP attempts pinfalls but Roode won't stay down. MVP hits "Ballin'" for a near fall. Roode hits a spine buster for a near fall. Roode and MVP trade blows before Roode lands a big superplex for a near fall. Roode dodges the "Drive By" and rolls MVP up for a near fall. MVP blocks the "Roode Bomb" and hits a kick on Roode. Roode counters MVP's neck breaker and hits the "Roode Bomb" for the pinfall. Bobby Roode retains the TNA World Title. After the match, Bobby Lashley hits the ring and lays Roode out with a spear. MVP puts his hand out for Lashley to help him off the mat but Lashley walks past him and leaves the ring as Impact closes out.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 10.23.14: TNA Impact

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's the TNA Impact recap from last night's show. Impact took place from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Some highlights of last night's show consisted of the first round of the Tag Team Tournament to crown new #1 Contenders to The Wolves' TNA World Tag Team Championship. Bram meets Devon one on one in a "Street Fight Match". Bobby Roode and Bobby Lashley go face to face one week before their TNA World Title Match, as they officially sign their contract, to meet one on one. All this and more, let's get to the recap.

- "#1 Contenders Tag Team Tournament": The Hardy Boys vs. The BroMans: Matt and Jeff hit "poetry in motion" on Jesse and Zema early in the match. The Hardys double team Zema with an elbow and Jeff hits a splash for a near pinfall. Jeff scores another near fall with the jawbreaker mule kick combo on Zema. Zema gets in some offense and tags in Jesse but Jesse gets hit with the split-legged leg drop by Jeff for a near fall. Jeff hits "whisper in the wind" then goes for a "twist of fate". Jesse escapes by shoving Jeff into the ropes. Matt blind tagged in without Jesse seeing it and hits "twist of fate" on Jesse. Jeff climbs the ropes and "swanton bombs" his way to a pinfall on Jesse.

- Bram brags about taking Abyss out of action and is targeting Devon next. Devon hits the ring and brawls with Bram. TNA Security break up the brawl and Kurt Angle announces Bram vs Devon in a "Street Fight Match" later tonight.

- "#1 Contenders Tag Team Tournament": Low Ki and Samoa Joe vs. Samuel Shaw and Gunner: Brittany makes her way out to the ring and begins arguing with Shaw. Gunner and Shaw try to get offense in but Shaw continues to be distracted by Brittany at ringside, who continues to yell at Shaw. Gunner tells Brittany to hit the road, then gets kicked in the head by Low Ki and power slammed by Joe for a near fall. Gunner fights back on Joe after Joe puts Gunner in the corner. Brittany reaches in and grabs Gunner's leg, distracting Gunner. Low Ki kicks Gunner again and Joe locks in the "coquina clutch" forcing Gunner to tap out. After the match Gunner yells at Brittany and again tells her to get lost and leave Shaw alone. Shaw turns on Gunner, as he unloads on Gunner with a steel chair shot. Shaw gets a few more steel chair shots in on Gunner before making out with Brittany.

- MVP accuses Kurt Angle of using Bobby Roode to get vengeance on Bobby Lashley. Kenny King says he and MVP are going to kick ass and win the TNA World Tag Team Championship.

- Rebel vs. Angelina Love: Rebel is in the ring awaiting Love, when out comes the TNA Knockouts Champion, the monster, Havok. Havok attacks Rebel, hits a leg drop and lays Rebel out with a slam to the canvas. Gail Kim hits the ring and lands a few hits to Havok, sending Havok to the floor. Havok throat tosses Gail Kim down on the ramp. Havok and Gail Kim trade punches with each other until TNA Security make the save and pull the ladies apart.

- Kurt Angle says the stakes in the Bobby Roode/Bobby Lashley TNA World Title Match will be huge in the big announcement he'll make for it later during the contract signing.

- "Street Fight Match": Bram vs. Devon: Bram goes after Devon with the turn buckle piece weapon. Devon clotheslines Bram on the floor and chucks a water bottle at Bram. Devon tosses Bram head first into the ring steps then lands a trash can lid shot. Devon lands a one-man con-chair-to on Bram then hits Bram in the corner with a trash can. Bram hits Devon with the trash can then wedged it in the corner. Devon throws Bram head first into the wedged can then drives the can into Bram's family jewels. Magnus comes out and hits Devon with a kendo stick setting Bram up to smack Devon in the head with the turn buckle piece. Bram covers and scores the pinfall.

- "#1 Contenders Tag Team Tournament": Mr. Anderson and Chris Melendez vs. MVP and Kenny King: Melendez hits a couple clotheslines on King then hooks the fisherman's suplex for a near fall. Melendez goes for the fireman's carry on King but MVP breaks it up. Anderson and Melendez double team MVP, but King sneaks in from behind and rolls up Melendez, holding Melendez's tights for the pinfall.

- The Wolves want the best competition TNA can offer. Davey Richards bumps into James Storm and Storm wants Richards to see "the beauty of a revolution".

- "#1 Contenders Tag Team Tournament": Ethan Carter III and Tyrus vs. Eric Young and Rockstar Spud: Spud wants ECIII to start but Tyrus tags in. Spud holds his own and takes down Tyrus. Tyrus misses a splash but Spud can't tag out, as Tyrus takes out EY. ECIII finally tags in and smacks Spud around until Spud fires back. Spud makes the hot tag and EY unloads on Tyrus and ECIII. EY lands the top rope elbow on ECIII for the near fall. EY takes out ECIII and Tyrus with a suicide dive, then Spud follows with a senton bomb. Spud looks to close out the match, but instead gets choked half unconscious by Tyrus, allowing ECIII to score the pinfall.

- Kurt Angle introduces Bobby Roode and Bobby Lashley. Roode says he loves wrestling, last time Lashley was the better man, but Roode knows he can beat Lashley. MVP cuts in and talks up Lashley and brags about Lashley destroying everything in his path. Angle announces that next week, it'll be Bobby Lashley defending the TNA World Title against Bobby Roode. MVP and Kenny King are banned from ringside and Kurt Angle will serve as the special guest referee. Bobby Roode signs the contract first. MVP says this isn't happening. Bobby Lashley ignores MVP and signs the contract to make the match official. Impact closes out with Roode and Lashley staring each other down and Lashley raising the TNA World Title over his head.
